My biggest problem is a set of working Tools xD
I never got a running Version in the past.
Cant wait for any tutorials because i would be happy about the ability to change the map.

I will work on my Version.

it's rather complex. Sadly I haven't the time to write an tutorial, at least not for now. But if you need help with a specific question, feel free to ask.

Do you really need to delete a port to make a new province with port?

I could provide my program folder of the map utility; it works normal and I use it on different computers, never had any problem.
Only thing I have problems from time to time is to extract the DH Full Map, but I have also an unmodded version of this map so there is no extraction necessary.

No, if I'm righ...? I'm pretty sure I've added some port-provinces here and there. Never deleted an port for it, iirc.

I read it in old guides, maybe it applied only to hoi2.

Not deleting a port is not a "clean practise" as it will generate a bug report in savebug.txt but It should work fine if you don't want to bother

@Stahl-Opa finally achieved to not have errors in png files, but step 3 (adjacencies), mapmaker always get stuck.

I never ever had problems with the adjecencies...

But where do you run the mapmaker from?
The tools is really unszable if anything has acces to/do acces the map map files.

If you run it from a clouddrive, it will cause instability. Also if the (generating files) will be checked by an antivirus or any other tool.

So maybe this is also a problem for you? Try to deactivate all synchronization apps & tools like MEGA or Onedrive and check if the Antivirus scans the Mapmaker directory (and may stop it temporarly). Do not open any file from the Mapmaker dir, even if it's just a .txt.

At best, close everything else running on your system and try the MapMaker again

PS: Where do you have the attached file from?
Just checked my MapUtility, I do not use this file anywhere/do not have it.

Maybe just delete that .txt and try again?

WHich version of the map utility you do use? 1.2.5b is mine and seems working.

always stuck at step 3, mapmakers hangs. you need that archive for it

i dont use clouddrives

Have you tried it without that .txt? To run it after deleting it?

I run the MapUtility without it an can run it without any problems. Including step 3.
