if it is put in the right place, it should show in the drop down menu in the center of the bottom of the launcher
ok, then I am going too put forward the things that might have gone wrong, because that should be about right. when downloaded it should be one folder and one file and the launcher is the thing that appears when you press the shortcut to play Rome.
If none of these helps then I have too say I am out of ideas
well when i downloaded it, it was in the downloads folder. And i know what the launcher is so that is out. i will try an earlier patch and see if it works. Also may it be because i have vae victus 2.2 patch installed on my computer?

I didn't test it yet with 2.2. I would say it's compatible as for now all I do is add countries and change the map and stuff, but I can't be sure. I'll try it to check if it works or not.
Anyway, it should be visible in the launcher. Make sure the downloaded files (that is, the folder named Magna Terra and the .mod file with the same name) are inside the "mod" folder, that is in the directory where the game was installed.

crap i feel so stupid!!! i found the problem. I need to download an extractor first:rofl:!!!!! ahhh!!! so anyone have any advice on what site i should download an extracter? Free extracter for rar. No viruses either lol
o.k this sucks, does anyone know why the Magna Terra download is not extracting into my mod folder

i dont know if you can add mods to the steam one, but i don't have the steam version. Can anyone help please?
I think it's possible, but I don't know how. Try asking in the technical support help.
Maybe the downloaded file is corrupted? Wait, Magna Terra.mod is a file that is not to be opened, it doesn't need to be extracted. Like I said, the download file is a .rar. Try open it with 7-Zip like you would open a txt, then you'll see the folder and the .mod file inside it, copy them to the mod folder in the game directory.
o.k i opened the archive with 7-zip and right clicked and clicked copy to C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis - Rome\mod\ to first copy the folder and 982 of those message type things came up like....

o.k i got the Magna Terra Folder into my mod folder and it downloaded into it and everything but still nothing shows up in the launcher. All i did was copy and paste it into the mod folder
any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. all i want to do is play the mod lol but i hate having to go through all this!:rofl: so please anything that may work please suggest it
