Hey! I've been really enjoying this mod. I wanted to call out a few issues that I noticed while dicking around in the British Isles at various starting points. I don't think I'm running any other mods that would cause this, just EPE/CFP with the appropriate compatibility patches and a few little things like nameplates and renaming characters.
I really like Irish rulers starting out as Clan governments – honestly I have no idea why Paradox faith-locked Clan and Feudal governments – but they all still start out with Tribal holdings at all start dates, giving them zero levies and no realistic way to afford the upgrade cost. I think the simplest solution would just be to leave Ireland Tribal but, if the base game allows, set the Insular religion to upgrade to Clan instead of Feudal. You could also set independent Irish rulers as Clan with properly upgraded holdings at a certain start date (probably sometime near the end of the 13th century?) but I don't know if that's worth the trouble.
Similarly, the various hybrid cultures (Norse-Gaelic, Anglo-Norse, etc) all start out in Late Antiquity with 7/19 Innovations unlocked, regardless of start date, which usually puts them way behind their source cultures. This probably isn't worth individually fixing with the culture changes in Royal Court, but just wanted to flag it for consideration if you do decide to keep pre-generated hybrid cultures when doing the next patch.
Finally, it looks like if England gets the Magna Carta (which is a fun event!) and becomes a Republic, there's no decision or other mechanic to restore feudalism. I'm not sure whether that's specific to the Magna Carta decision or to Republican governments in general, but I think the push-pull of swapping back and forth would be a lot of fun. (If that's not feasible with the way government changes are scripted, totally understandable).
Thanks so much for all the hard work on this great mod.
I'm not really sure how I could do that stuff with religion or if that's even possible. I could just make them have castle holdings by 1066 like they do in vanilla CK3 but just have the clan government instead of feudal. Them being given tribal holdings was me just moving over CK2 settings (base CK3 just gives them castles in 1066). Quickest and easiest thing to do.
I made some changes to the innovation file for the 3. I'll still use manual hybrid cultures come RC mainly due to the multiple bookmarks requiring it which means I'll most likely be adding more cultures to the mod.
The Magna Carta event is a Res Republica event so it'd probably be best to just make that suggestion on his mods page for that event (mainly since my coding knowledge is small).
