Playing UK. I have taken military control over Canada, SA, Aus, NZ and Free France. Can I get the buggers on to transports? No. Their own and mine do not seem to be good enough. I have about 16 Divisions available in Canada which would be really useful right now. Japan has just DOW'd and I really need some of those Aussies in Malaya to surrender alongside my Brits and Indians.

Did you try the other tools first or not? A download like memt31a.zip with about 50k is not a big deal is it. And, logically, if any of the first tools points out the problem, the reason to download the last tool is not that big is it? So, I wouldn't get stuck on the size of the last tool before I tested the others if I were you...
I don't think you confirmed that you actually did a (harddisk-) surface test as suggested by others. Am I wrong? Today I would guess it is something like less than 10% that this is the problem, but as long as the problem is still there every percent may count.
Well, it will do this over and over again until you reboot the machine. When I need to test a customer's PC vigorously, I usually let it run for 24-48 hours. But I guess running it for an hour or so without errors showing up should be sufficient to assume your memory is fine
You might want to call up the configuration and enable all tests, not just the default ones, though.
Thanx jpd, prime95 is now running, and just cuple of minutes before I finished checkdisc. No errors found (I did full scan). Oh and what is hoitool that I found on your website ??
That's my leader trait filtering tool. Just run it from within a command box.
As parameters you specify the nation and the traits you want, and it dumps the names of all matching leaders right in that command box. Makes it easier for me to select leaders with specific trait combinations, whenever I play a nation with hundreds of leaders.

PS. It really shouldn't be necessary to write a little program like that. This capability ought to be in HoI(2) itself, but that's just my humble opinion.
