How to correct this? Is it enough to use Paint and copy the background white colour from some unmodded borders image and then paint everything with exact same colour... Or do I need to use GIMP's transparent (which is shown in Paint as black).
Paint isn't good enough. GIMP or Paint.NET or Photoshop or anything with transparency

Miihkali: Probably the borders image is not transparent.

rommel_sniper: I forgot to reenable logging. But run MapMaker from the command prompt and the error should be displayed. (If you don't know how, mention it and also whether or not you have Vista (Having it would be good))

I use Windows XP.

About command, I am not sure if I know using,I would be pleased if you tell me how.

It is the same than oppening the map? (When extractod didn't existed)

Please teach me :D

Bye!

What happens if there's some non-accepted colour in prov_IDs? Because I have done borders twice completely new and tried many tricks which I hoped to fix the problem :( So can the problem be somewhere else.

It should tell you after making step 1 AFAIK, giving you the "illegal" colour values of RGB, then you have to find it in prov_id.png.

Well I finally found the problem. Problem was that Microsoft Office Picture Manager doesn't understand such things like transparent. Some way opening files with it corrupted the transparent... So I just need to also save the pictures in GIMP, not only mod.
Thanks for your help. Silly me, I tried to make it too complex way :D

And abaut thecommand secuence?
WindowsKey+R to open run window
Type "cmd", enter
See if you are on the right drive (It should say something like C:\Windows\system32\>)
If you are not type cd /D X: (X is the drive maputil is on)
Then see the folder you are in. To go into a folder type cd foldername
When you are in MapUtility's folder type MapMaker or MapExtractor, whichever is giving you problems

Also copy MapMaker.pdb to where MapMaker.exe is. That should add line numbers. The top few lines are enough.

Where?? I have mapmaker.pdb collocated in the same directory than mapmaker.exe. If I join pdb to mapmaker appear the name of the directory, but not numbers. Can you explain me exacly exacly what to do??? It is frustated xD I made some other chages and it went correctly. I don't know why now no but....

It's correct? Then we are all happy...

But if MapMaker.pdb is in the same folder as MapMaker.exe, there should be line numbers in the error message...

No no, it was correct before. SOme days ago. Now I have that problem. In the error message doesn't appear nothing different

Is it normal that step 1 of MapMaker is taking ages ?
