Performance

According to the Steam surveys, my system is above average: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 4080 Super, 32 GB RAM 3600mhz C16, Samsung M.2 990 Pro.
But after Graveyard of Empires, I experienced a noticeable late game performance drop—probably due to the new mandate countries, more mios, more content, bigger and more focus trees, and more calculations etc.

Is there any plan to improve performance?

Nice machine! I can't say that we have any real performance improvements planned for the current update. With future war effort patches we typically do. I know that for most PDS games, the '3D' version of the CPU makes quite a bit difference. See the stellaris benchmarks from gamer nexus. I know it's not the thing you want to hear, and I want to reiterate that we do continuously look at performance, just not for this update.

In the next hotfix, can you sneak in some Intelligence Agency names for some countries that have unique focus trees but have no intelligence agency names (it has Rooke as default)?

Have sent out a bug report I've known about a week or two in bug reports about fascist Afghanistan.

Loving the new changes to afghanistan and iran's focus tree though, but iran's persia restoration seems to be clipping into the alt history branch if you have not down the Pahlavi Imperium

That Taha al-Hashimi and Hussein Fawzi,stay on for Kurdistan as generals also doesn't make that much sense, Hussein was from Mosul but I think he was Arab,. Baqr Sidqiwas Kurdish maybe make him stay loyal. But in general that focus tree doesn't make sense. Kurdistan jut taking on the whole of Arab Iraq and then after victory, no Kurdification, no resistance, the country just becomes Kurdistan? I think it would be good to have another focus before to ally with the Communist Party of Iraq and thereby have support in the Shia territories. And then the Sunni-West had to be pacified after the Civil war and recored.
Also most ministers don't make sense for Kurdistan.

These are good changes and I appreciate the hard work getting this far. I look forward to further bug fixes and fleshing out the DLC because there is still a lot to address.

I have tested out Turkey and I have to say that the Ottoman tree, the only "easy" to follow and interesting path of the Turkish focus tree has been completely ruined. You can't full and properly complete it. Because of the Saadabad Pact focuses. The "Expand the Saadabad Pact" focuses is irrelevant because both "Rejoin the Central Powers" and "Press the Austro-Hungarian Claim" BOTH allow you to form a faction. It doesn't even put you in a faction with Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan or give them events IT DOES NOTHING.

And then because of that you can't do "The Pan-National Association of Ulemas" focus because you NEED to be in a faction with one of them. Well Iraq dies before it is reasonably possible, Iran gets invaded by the Allies AND Comitern. and you cant access Afghanistan without Iran or India.
Because of this not only does the Ottoman Path lose one of its greatest strengths (puppeting the Middle East) but it can't even complete its focus tree now because its near impossible to do "The Pan-National Association of Ulemas" which is one of four required focuses to complete the tree.

The only way to circumnavigate this is to attack Iran, Iraq, or Afghanistan. BUT IF YOU DO THAT THEN YOU LOSE ALL YOUR SAADABAD PACT NATIONAL SPIRIT
So if this update releases as is then the Ottoman Path will have to choose between amazing national spirit, in exchange for free puppets and a finished focus tree. Or finish the focus tree and lose the national spirit

The Ottoman Path isn't even that good you cant even core the full extent of what the Ottoman empire used to have or get expansion cores, WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO MY BOY

I see that after this patch, dev diaries for the next DLC are already being planned again.. I just hope that the state of the game will continue to be worked on before the next DLC.
They need something like the Custodians over in Stellaris. A separate team focused entirely on improving performance and fixing bugs, as the main team works on the expansions and additions. Call them the "Logistics Corps" or something.

In the German division namelist why is Panzer-Grenadier-Division Großdeutschland commented out? Also why is the motorized Grossdeutchland division 1 instead of 932?
# 932 = { "Panzer-Grenadier-Division Großdeutschland" } # Grossdeutchland will start as motorized, and later be converted
1 = { "Infanterie-Division (mot.) Großdeutschland" } # Was SS, but SS has it's own namelists
932 = { "%d. Infanterie-Division (mot.)" }

No fix for the Indian loyalist generals leaving after a Azad Hind revolution? India players can't have the only two historical field marshals lead their armies in the game.
Any suggestions?

I think future potential Indian generals can be added if unlocked at later time. I myself added some events in the 1940s and 50s in my mod for those Indonesian generals.
