Exporting not works and no one is responding to threads about the issue. At least say "it's a bug" or "it's not, because bla bla".
Nah they aren't getting review bombed for that so they don't care.
They'd rather prioritise kids that want to play it on a dated PC on high graphics.

Focus on game breaking bugs first, cheers!

Game is running way better now, thanks. One question, you said that in performance you target 30fps. Why is there no option to cap the game at 30fps? That would help to provide a more stable experience. Cheers!
Because they don't actually "target" 30FPS. They just said that, so it sounds better than "we totally missed the mark". It's the "oh, no! I did that on purpose" line.

But, yes. A lock FPS slider would be nice.

Well, I was kind of hoping the patch today would have fixed this one, but alas...

There are a couple of confirmed bug reports for this exact issue. For some reason I can't post links here, but here is a workaround I have found that has worked for a lot of people...

I had the same issue. I have an RTX 4090 and am running default High on 3840x1600. What I did was go into advanced graphics settings and set my MIP Bias from 0 to 1, and the blurry texture issue cleared up immediately. Setting back to 0 and the textures went blurry again. Set back to 1, 2, or 3 and the textures loaded fine again. The settings page changed from High to Custom when I changed the MIP Bias setting, however when I restarted leaving it at 1, the Texture Quality showed Medium. I also tried just changing Texture Quality and letting the MIP Bias change with it, but no matter what I chose from High to Very Low, the textures remained blurry until I manually change MIP Bias off of what the preset was.

High =0
Medium=1
Low=2
Very Low=3

What is interesting though is that I helped out someone else having this exact same issue, but their default was set to Medium, MIP Bias 1, and they changed it to MIP Bias 2, and their issue cleared up as well, so it appears that just setting the Default Texture and letting MIP Bias stay with the default for Texture Quality did not fix the issue.
Can confirm, this issue returned for me with the patch (after fixing it by setting mip to 1 the other day), but setting it to 0 and then 1 again fixed it all up again.

With Game Pass users getting the update delayed compared to Steam users, I hope this is a one-time occurrence and not a problem that occurs every single update.

Steam and Microsoft have different internal processes for approving and publishing updates, so it would not surprise me in the least if Game Pass is regularly delayed as compared to Steam. Though, this is not a competitive game, so other than requiring a small bit of patience, I'm not sure how this makes any difference.

It could make a difference if it is a game breaking bug.

Platforms have different internal processes as you mentioned, but it's up for the developers to have this in mind and make sure it's released at the same time.

I imagine this is going to be a one time thing as it's new to Paradox, I have plenty of games from Game Pass from other publishers that get the patches on the same day as other PC platforms.

Patch did not work for me. I get 40-50 FPS when not moving the picture about, but rotating the camera and building stuff takes it to 2-8. As soo as I take my hand off the mouse, back to 40-50. It is no way to play a game though.

Good first patch, increased FPS for me by around 10 in a 100k population city at 1440p (38-50 FPS instead of 26-40 before), even after increasing Detail Quality from 35% to 40%, having most other on "High".

Increased 4k performance from 15-19 FPS to 27-30 FPS in the same city.

If you can increase FPS by another +10 then I can switch from 1440p to 4k finally (I need some headroom because my goal is a 300k+ pop city).

PC: RTX 3080 12GB, i7-12700K, 64GB DDR4-3600, SSD, Win11

I can’t seem to fix the no pedestrian access notice in some cases too, mostly row houses.
Banning pedestrians doesn't seem really necessary at this moment, the big problem is "No customers" even though there are many residents around and no one is unemployed / public transportation is adequate, Apartment Residents Level 1 households still complain about high rent even though taxes have been reduced to 0%. These are the two main problems that I think everyone is facing

I think you have to ban vehicles from parking or entering a certain road, why ban pedestrians?

Thank you!

With my 5900x + 4080 + 32ggb, this has helped a lot in 4K.
Before 25-45fps, now 45-70fps. Some settinggs like volumetric and lod still on medium only.

Now please do something with the shadow flickering, as thats the next most annoying "feature".

Try to use TAA. For me it works on 3080

Oh, I meant some of my houses show a “no pedestrian access” alert as if they were not connected to a road, but they are.

I’ve tried buldozing the house as well as rezoning and redoing the road but the problem persists in the exact same tiles. It’s probably a little bug.

The improvement to FPS you see can vary depending on hardware. Some may see a significant improvement while others might only see a smaller improvement. At this time we recommend you experiment with the settings you turned down to see what kind of FPS you're seeing with this update.
Can you help me with my fps i have only 5 fps i used the recommended setting and even set to very low and i got 6 to 7 fps can you help me with that pls?
