Iraq never joined the Axis. They got an Axis friendly govt and received aid from the Axis (like Spain).
Well they signed an agreement, they would have joined the axis if the regime had lasted longer. Axis promised them Syria and Lebanon, military aid in exchange for oil rights.

Why not just delete the elephant troop ? Elephant is kowned to be useless in old war and even now war. Beside this, it seems unreasonable to use elephants from all over the world to arm a division.

still some vids about Iraq join Axis right after leave UK before finishing join germany focus tho
edit: i guess it's because they only make a video but didn't send a feed back lol.
In my game Iraq joined Axis in 1939, almost right after Danzig or war. Then were swiftly destroyed by some UK armor that was sitting in Kuwait. It really shouldn't happen for another year or two. It could even be predicated on Axis reaching a certain extent eastward in North Africa like breaching Egypt, but I guess that would take some agency over it from Iraq.
Only if the player can fire them, please. Otherwise this just drives up the recruitment cost through the roof.

They probably have them join the Axis so that Iraq is occupied/controlled by the Allies instead of Owned by them.
