This has been asked a few times, but no one has replied. How do I get knowledge of areas to put my fleets on patrol or convoy escort so I can do long distance naval invasions? I want to invade the USA as Japan, but I don't want to invade Hawaii first. I can't tell my ships to patrol the whole area because "we know too little about this region!" When I told my ships to patrol, some of the red region in that area cleared up, but only for that fleet. It also didn't give me access to the next sea zone.

Since exports happen automatically, there's no way to cancel an ongoing export, right? What if I change my production and suddenly need certain resources that I've been exporting up to that point? Do I have no choice but to import those resources from someone else?

1. How do I delete/destroy outdated materiel?

2. How can I stop a rocket launch pad from picking up obsolete rockets?
(I currently have to go a rather circuitous route in order to remove the flight group, but then it is immediately added again)

3. Can you point me to a guide on the advantages/disadvantages/differences between satellites, puppets, taking territory, etc.?

4. Can you point me to a guide on how "to do good at" the peace treaty mini game?

Thank you kindly of any answer(s) you can provide!

Hey guys, I have attempted to mod new nations in the game, so I started with Silesia, because... why not?

Problem is, the flag does not appear, nor does the leaderhead. What did I do wrong? I'd appreciate some help ^^

Thanks!

How do you meet the conditions for the First Ljubljana Award? I can't access the entire Balkan Event Chain even though Yugoslavia has capitulated.

In particular, I can't get this:

>One of the following must be true :

>{ All of the following must be true:
>Yugoslavia exists
>At peace with YUG
>Owns Slovenia }

Same here. Seems to happen if you go for eg. early Poland war without event. Yugoslavia just doesnt give you Slovenia. Instead you get a war dec. So you need to take it. Then you can go on with the event chain.

How do the commerce laws work?
I tried free trade and instantly I was lacking hundreds of resources.
80% of all my production goes abroad but I don't get any IC in return.

How the heck is the claims on france focus supposed to work for italy? There isn't 70 days between germany taking ile de france and them spitting out vichy france (cancelling the focus) is there?

80% of your resources are put on the market. You need a country to trade with you in order for you to receive extra factories.
If noone trades with you you wont receive extra factories but you still give up 80% of your resources.
That includes oil and rubber from synthetics.

Can you receive supply from places other than your capital? If you use paratroopers to jump the front lines can you receive supply from any cities captured or are the troops doomed anyway because they are cut off?

Like Earmuffs said.

In order to get countries to trade with you, you can improve relations. If you have oil and want the UK to buy it, for example, raise relations.

Once the Total Need for a production line has been fulfilled, should I replace it with something else or just leave it be at 1 military factory?
All equipment are going to be destroyed/sunk/shoot down so keep producing it until you get something better to produce for the same equipment (variant or next level)

My observation when playing as the Soviet Union: I did not need to give my puppets factories in exchange for their resources, though I am not sure if that is a blanket rule or depends on some other factors besides puppeting.

This is true as I just observed this in another separate game with Japan (I made China a puppet). However the UK wasn't actively exploiting my resources at the time so I believe they will only resort to that in time of war.

I know how to use support attack with units. hold ctrl + right button works ok. But when the units are assigned to army it doesn't work. I micro a lot of and want to do it.
bump! bump! bump!

Can anyone else confim? This is big news and once again no tooltip about anything. Its like they made a game for a 13year old with ADHD.

Is there any way to check how many convoys have I sunk - and is "lost ships" in navy overview working for you guys - I remember loosing some subs but it's empty. We really need a ledger like in other PDS games :(

If this is true, it makes puppets seem much more worthwhile than they currently are.

Although, it seems like it would kind of suck for puppets to have literally zero resources, or do they just give resources you explicitly ask for?

How is the dig-in bonus calculated?

How is the tactics movement modifier different from a damage modifier?

How is experience gain calculated? Is 1 per div per day confirmed?

How much experience is needed per level? Is it true that traits are easier to gain at lower levels?

How is the factory gain from exports calculated?

Do I have to get a Puppet focus in the tree before joining the war in order to puppet in the Peace Conference? Just playing my second game as USA and had no puppet or liberation options in peace conference, even though I got the National Focus for Japan and Germany. But I got them when I was already in the war. I'm guessing you need to get them before you join?
