Is there a nice way to ask for Lend Lease? I've not been able to receive any of this from the USA or UK or France as Poland, and I've had 54% war participation against Germany with some sizable lack of equipment. Then Hungary joined Axis when Germany capitulated. Then the Soviet Union attacked me as well. I can't get new troops out due to lack of supplies, stretched too thin and Italy is taking back Germany while I try to hold the east desperately. Then Romania joined Axis and another front opened. Halp.

What are the numbers in the green speech bubbles on the map where battles are taking place supposed to indicate?
The number indicates how much the battle is in your favor in % as of now, while the color indicates who's gaining ground a.k.a. who's likely to win in the long term.

Is there a quick way to select all of a certain type of unit like if I wanted to select all of the tank divisions in an army?
Not that I know of. Its a shame as in eu4 you can click on relevant troop type in the army bar to detach them all, should really be the same here. With out more of an oob the troop sorting and selection should have been better.

I've searched this thread, but cannot find a similar question (that ended up being answered, anyway).

Naval invasions - how do they work? Are we required to build naval transports/army transport ships, and if so, how? If not, how is the 'transports' value which appears when you plan a naval invasion calculated?

Creste an army then enter battle plans. Its the option to the far left. Now click the harbor where you want to start now where you want to land and hit enter. Be sure that the arrow shows more than 0 divisions if not select army and ctrl click on it. When you now hover over the arrow it should tell you how long they need to prepare the invasion. Transports are temporarily taken from your convoys and the required number is also shown on the battle plans arrow

Are steam trading cards disabled for HoI IV Field Marshal edition? On the shop page it states that the game has trading cards, but they're not available on my steam. Just wondering if it's a bug or is it made for a reason.

I'm considering switching from pure submarine navy to some cruiser raiders, and I found those naval interdiction doctrines. surface visibility for cruisers (light, heavy, battle) and battleships. More raiding coordination and surface detection. These sound great.

How do I check the new values after I research doctrine?

Ship values remain the same in research mode and in build mode.

Select the wing and right click on the airbase I belive works.

And here I was disbanding air wing and reforming a new one. Thanks a lot.

If they are in a localised area you can click the icons (on the map, not the army window) to select them. Zooming out so the icons merge should work for reasonable distances. If they are very spread out then I don't know of a way.

I think that works for any unit with a different icon so you should be able to pick special forces from normal infantry as long as they have a different icon.

Convoys are the transport ships but you need to have researched the transport ships tech under the naval tree in order to prepare for an invasion.
You have to have either naval or air superiority over all the sea zones that the invasion pass through to launch it. Once it is launched you can cancel the superiority however your convoys can be intercepted.

How do you meet the conditions for the First Ljubljana Award? I can't access the entire Balkan Event Chain even though Yugoslavia has capitulated.

In particular, I can't get this:

>One of the following must be true :

>{ All of the following must be true:
>Yugoslavia exists
>At peace with YUG
>Owns Slovenia }

>{ All of the following must be true:

>Yugoslavia does not exist

>Owns Slovenia
>Owns Vojvodina
>Owns Macedonia
>Owns Dalmatia
>Owns Montenegro }

How about asking for military access. Can I use their airports and perform missions from there? Can I get air cover west of Portugal/Spain for my subs? Can I paradop on Gibraltar from neutral Portugal/Spain?
