How's the Anschluss working? I don't fully grasp it.
You can only research it if you have 550 k army in the field. If I check my manpower I'm above that number - is there something I'm overlooking. Should those forces be in a state (region of Germany)?

Thanks for reply regarding my question about getting advisors etc. Finally worked it out then spent ages trying to find this thread - Page 22??

Not at this time. Hopefully something fixed in a future patch. You can create a new airwing and set it to high priority. It will get the new planes first before your other airwings upgrade.
The question relating to this answer is a very good one. Its something I will wish to do.

What specifically do you do in order to deploy newly recruited land units into an army? Right click gets me a province, left clicking the army selects the army. I can do it with naval units, but not army.

I keep missing time which could be spent exercising.

Oh, not that I know if. But if you can, I'd love to know how!

You CAN do this with ships you are producing though (produce directly into a fleet), I learned that fairly recently.

Go to recruit tab. You see that button/tab where you can choose where they deploy? On the left side is a grey circle. Left-click circle >> left-click on the army portrait. the Army needs an order(front line, garisson area, etc) tho.

Yes this. Took me a while to realise that the Army needs a plan first.
Tip I saw was make a training Army with fall back line for them to deploy to. Have that army on permenant training for your guys to get to regular. Check every so often to get them from there to real armies.

Once I activate a frontline order for my army, is there any way for me to cancel the frontline order and get back full manual control without deleting and recreating the army?

What's the best way to figure out how many resources I'm producing, importing, exporting, using and so on?
I cn't find an easy way. Trade tab hasn't much synthetic info and resources map mode doesn't seem so useful.

Thanx in advance

If I replace a light tank brigade with a medium tank brigade for a division template in use, will the divisions replace the light tanks over time or will they go without tanks in the case of a shortage?

So, playing a game as a diabolical warmongering fascist. Converted the US to fascism via support political party before they joined the allies, then proceeded to win all three major wars- (Allies vs Axis, Comintern vs Axis, and China vs Axis) as Germany.

But Germany still looks like it could use some more territory...

How would I go about removing another country from my faction? I've tried clicking around on the political page for Germany, as well as the pages for Italy and Japan, but no such luck. I can't forge a wargoal with them in the faction, and I can't seem to be able to kick them out.

Cheers in advance,
A Dirty Fascist.

Is it possible to get AI USA to join Allies before USA is at war with anyone?

So far the reasons are
+10 Good Relations
+20 World Tension (100%)
-20 Base Reluctance
-50 Might be dragged into a war

As UK, I seem totally unable to pull them into the conflict, regardless of anything I do. Which means I'm entirely at the mercy of my enemy attacking them, which could be a long time as Japan is losing.

No, you have to have mixed divisions. Exactly what kind of mix I cannot really say, but you have to take into account organisation, hard/soft attack (depending on what you want), defence, production costs, manpower costs, max speed, combat width, etc. It is rather complicated and I hardly get it myself.

There are some guides posted here on the forum that I have been following to try to learn it.

With motorized, you have to look at the stats. The main thing with motorized is the increased speed, I suppose. Divisions move at the speed of the slowest unit, so when you mix armor with leg infantry it will be very slow. You want to use motorized for that.

EDIT: I have been using GAGA Extrem's guide.

https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...s-guide-to-unit-types-division-design.942449/

Also motorized use 1200 manpower to infantries 1000.

The easiest I found is select army and right click on delete in planning tab. Kills all AI orders/control messing.

You can also click delete orders and then delete specifics by clicking on arrows or front lines

Units can support attack, I've seen them do it as part of a battle plan that has been activated. How can I manually tell them to do this?
I saw somewhere (not sure if it was in a tooltip or wiki) hold CTRL when you order the unit you want to support the attack without moving to the attacked province.

As Italy how the hell can i protect my fleet from naval bombers? I have overwhelming air superiority and still my whole fleets gets sunk in ports.
Edit: I'd appreciate it if someone could also explain what the aircraft detection province stat means

Assign some planes to the Intercept mission rather than Air Superiority. AA and Radar are also really powerful for stopping bombings.

What exactly counts as a frontline battalion for land doctrine purposes? I know infantry is frontline but artillery isn't, even if the artillery is not support artillery. What about tanks? Are they also frontline battalions?
