Are Infantry/Armor expert traits from a field marshal and a general stack?

Yes, but for FM the general traits and terrain traits only have 50% effect, only the FM traits have 100% effect. You can use a FM as general, then the FM traits has no effects.

You can get one free traits to promote an general to FM, so do it for your main generals before war start.

How terrain movement modifiers work?

For example, a division has three battalions, they have default speed as s1, s2, s3, and terrain movement modifiers as x1, x2, x3.

How is division speed calculated? Is it min(s1,s2,s3)*mean(x1,x2,x3) or min(s1*x1,s2*x2,s3*x3)?

As far as I know it's the first option. Minimum speed multiplied by average modifier.

Meaning that mountaineers with line artillery would automatically be using mountain guns?

Yeah kind of.

It's not a huge difference though. Mountaineers gain +20% movement bonus and Artillery get -20% move penalty in mountains, so a 7+2 division with mountaineers would move at +11% speed instead of -4% for a similar division with infantry instead.

Is anyone updating the wiki? Does Paradox update the wiki? Many pages are outdated and I can’t imagine why that is since the game is still being actively developed, since we have a new DLC out soon.

new to the game and I would like to know when and why I would go after the decolonization as great Britain?
do I not become weaker when granting independance to india and Australia? why would I ever want that?

Haven't checked the focus tree so in depth honestly but flavor's one reason always. :)

It can also mean your nation's less prone to being overextended and you can focus more specifically on something else, perhaps. You'll probably get some relationship bonuses with them.

There's no reason those countries should be your sole responsibility, if you so wish.

Autonomy is going to increase as your puppets help you in any event. It might be better to willingly decolonize and have a friendly ally than to either spend a lot of effort reducing their autonomy, or else have them rebel and fight a civil war (a hostile country that then allies with your enemies).

There are no ports on the other side of the Panama Canal, so your troops have nowhere to be shipped. Try building a new port.

What exactly has a GER player to do to get the historical Croatia state created when / after one got to war with Yugoslavia?
