Yeah you have reinforcement prioritized over division construction. You lack the equipment needed to do both. Put more factories into infantry equipment and it will eventually start building them. Or, prioritize division construction over reinforcement.

Is it known how to get Trotsky as the leader of the Soviet Union? I tried provoking a coup attempt by failing to triggering the officer purges, and then not purging anyone, but the resulting civil war looks to be a democratic/unaligned one.

What does Better Synthetic research get you? The explanation is level 2 or level 3 refineries, but I don't see those add options in the construction menu.

Is that just two or three in one state? How is that at all useful for any country with lots of states?

In the RECRUIT & DEPLOY screen the first two fields (Reinforcements and Upgrades) ... I can prioritize there something, but what does it mean? What do I prioritize?

Do I say.. freshly build units get all the new stuff and already built get slowly updgraded, then low priority on UPGRADES. Do I get this right?

An REINFORCEMENTS... what is reinforced? What do i Prioritize there? Deployed troops or Units in Training?

For the hell of it, I don't understand what the tool tip wants to express.

- You really can't rename AIRWINGS? *cry*
- I can't find a list with all the hotkeys in the wiki :(((

Can somebody help me, please?

HALP!

2. I have plenty of infantry equipment but my units aren't being trained or built. Priority is high, still no progress. Why?

How's your manpower look? If its at 0, it won't progress much even if you have enough equipment.

EDIT: Is there any way to play as one of the Koreas? 1936 start has them occupied by Japan.

#1 How can I edit save file like in HoI3 ? I opened the new one in notepad++ and it's unreadable. I really liked to play around in the save file.
  • Open settings.txt in the same directory as the save games folder.

  • Search for "save_as_binary" and change the parameter to no.

  • Start the game and load your last save, save again.

  • The new save file should now be in plain text.

Can I choose which soundtrack will be playing in my game? I know there is a console command, but it does not do anything (and even if it did, I don´t want to write it 30 times to get to what I wanna hear :D). Thx.

Higher reinforcement priority means equipment will go to active troops that need them (due to attrition, casualties etc.) first, over those in training.

Higher upgrade priority means active troops will get the pick of newer equipment (that replaces something older) before they'll be used to equip those in training.

So if you have both set to high, and don't have enough newest equipment, then training troops will get whatever old equipment is left in your stockpile, if their template is set to use all equipment available not just newest.

What are these values for?

I'd like to know this one too...

And new question: it seems that troops assigned to naval invasion don't get any preparation bonus? I know land operations require an offensive line to be drawn for preparation bonus to appear, but it doesn't seem to help with naval invasions. My army tool tip always says some divisions are preparing.

Kinda noobish question but how do I assign air wings to carriers?
Click on one of your airbases. In the bottom box of the airbase screen you'll see a list of all of your other airbases. Your aircraft carriers are also listed here by a ship icon next to them. Click on the ship icon or the name and a window will pop up that lets you transfer air wings to the aircraft carrier(s). (if you have more than one aircraft carrier in a navy the screen will let you rearrange air wings between all of the aircraft carriers in that naval group)

Thank you so much. I played on, but guessed it the wrong way. Woohoo! Thank you!

Can your nation actually become one of the major nations found in Diplomacy tab? From a RP and Flavor perspective.

How do I transport units over sea? This is driving me nuts.

Probably not, but that's an interesting idea, like if you reach some power ranking.

Move them to a port and then right-click on an overseas port you own, assuming enough convoys.

Any idea what the higher level synthetic refineries do? I see no effect in game, still 5/2, and I get no option to upgrade in the construction queue.
