Weren't there earlier tiny hotfixes that solved serious issues (regardless of the patching status)?
I'm not sure how to do it in saves, but if you aren't above using the console you can do it that way. Enter "event 900" and the county will change to the religion of your ruler. It'll be the county that your ruler is currently in, so you'll either have to move your army to the county or play as the ruler of it.
Edit: I saw religion instead of culture. For culture conversion, it's the same principle but its "event 55001" as the ruler of the county you want to change.

I'm not getting a hit with search and it's not in the thread. I'm crashing every year after 18. Restarted 4 times with new char.

Why on earth would you link someone to a hotfix released over a year ago before Essos was even in the mod? That will not solve a problem you are having with the current version.
Are you considering add the various Forrester characters from the AGoT Telltale game? It isn't exactly perfect lore, however it is kinda cannon.

They said yes, but are currently working on some things before they get to it. I'd imagine the new patch and Way of Life will be taking most of their time. They've included Mors and Alyester Sarwick from other GOT games, so I think the Forresters and Whitehills will make an appearance. I wouldn't count on them having their own unique events or story though.

As for the issues, like I've already stated, he should use the console to ad Patientia to himself.
The patch 2.2.1 leave a lot of issues open that only the beta patch 2.2.1.1 fixes; so much it's not even risky to play the beta patch but darn outright necessary, rather than the official one. Since 2.2.3 is coming up rather soon, he should be a bit patient for it and await for the next version of the mod (I expect before the New Year's Eve?) to play the game. Right now, it is incompatible with the beta patch and very much not recommendable to play with the latest realeased one.
It is entirely related as it shows that he is looking for a soution to his current problem, not merely seeking proof of some ancient hotfix.

Slavicist mentioned the existence of earlier hotfixes. Locustgate claimed he couldn't find them. Slavicist provided proof they exist. It may not have been what he wanted, but it was clearly relevant to the conversation.
