I just went to GG and saw that if I buy it from there I'll need Steam, is there a way to download the game DRM free or atleast without Steam ?

Amazon.com says "download" -- but I do not know if that means the game or just the key for the game that you need on Steam. But you might want to look in to that. I'm with you about Steam though - can't stand it. The Amazon game requires steam. It is listed on the page as requiring a Steam account.
Oh well, hope some I know buys it and that I can play it at their place once in a while...
