Isn't in dangerous sto extra it' as you show them where the jp is?

Since this is their home system the game will have told them already exactly where all of the exits from that system are.

That's why the modrons sent a gate constructor at that JP we came in through right away.

That said, now I wonder how many exits that system has, if they picked that JP as most important.. maybe they don't have a lot of choices to begin with.

Can't they still use military ships to jump to us and attack?

Yes.

What is mean thst they're blue in game?

High habitability ratings. Colony cost below 2.0, essentially.

Doesn't they require Prix in the system?

Of course. But we haven't surveyed that system yet have we? There could be.

That'd be really bad, rituals?

Not necessarily. If the two aliens start fighting each other instead of us, we could hang back and break out the popcorn.

What was it we could use the autopsies to? As in, what can we get from them? - Information.

Looks extremely.baluable. and definitely something we'd need to defend the Neutral zone over. - Not convinced. There are 750 stars in this sector. I'm defending the Ze Neuotral Zoon-a, but I'm not convinced that we NEED it. We just WANT it.

What is mean thst they're blue in game? - Mars-like.
Like, I know the dauing. Wondering what it means in game.

Doesn't they require Prix in the system? - In previous games we've found plenty of unguarded ruins.

That'd be really bad, rituals? - They might fight each other.

Diluted?
But you raise it from 27 to 30%. - Isn't that 0.27 atmospheres of Oxygen? I said percentage. The Oxygen level needs to satisfy TWO conditions. (1) Oxygen must be between 0.1 and 0.3 atmospheres (here on Earth, it's 0.2), and (2) Oxygen must make up no more than 30% of the total atmospheric gasses.

As in whether the Mordrons noly have one exit?

Won't ti still show them which JP is used by another entity and which isn't?

But isn't it within that?

Ah. Thought there always were prix guarding things.

No.

Bottom center.

Oxygen is 34.5%.

Should be 30% or less.

We'll find out at some point though.

No. Unless they have sensor coverage, they have no way to tell.
But they did seem to be tracking us.

As Randakar points out, NPRs begin with all the jump points within their HOME star system already surveyed.

Another Scientist class scout discovers the new star system of TW Pisces Austrini (the Southern Fish), also adjacent to Ze Neuotral Zoon-a.

One Mercury-like world (very hot, no atmosphere) and two Venus-like worlds (very hot, thick atmosphere). Plus comets.

The situation still seems to be placid... at least, on the surface.

I'd like to keep everything tight at the back until we have some defenses in place.

The first Petards are ready!

I'd like to build a bunch of them - at least 140 mines - before sending anyone out there to lay a minefield.

Sounds like a good idea.
Are we mining AX M something first of the system between it and the new aliens?

Yes. The first minefield will be placed at the jump point between AX Microscopii and Ze Neuotral Zoon-a. The next might go at the jump between Ze Neuotral Zoon-a and Bork.

Here we are in Herschel 5173 - that very nice double-star system next to Ze Neuotral Zoon-a. We've moved in close enough to launch probes into the inner system.

The A-II planet is the gas giant with all those Mars-like moons... fourteen of them?

The A-III planet is the nearly-breathable one.

Each will get a probe.

Excellent. The inner system is empty.

We'll search the rest of the A-star before jumping across to the B-star.

Our probe says that all those tasty Mars-like moons are vacant, awaiting our pleasure.

Just as a reminder, here's the scale of that star system. It's huge.

The A-star is the one with all the comets. The B-star is the one with all the asteroids.

Our second Diplomat has arrived, in Ze Neuotral Zoon-a to negotiate with the Bork.

(Our first Diplomat is of course elsewhere, negotiating with the Modrons).

He'll park near the jump point, with his lights on.

That way we'll be negotiating in a star system where WE have pops, instead of in one where THEY have pops.

That's an advantage?
Why?

How many pops do we have in terms system so far?

It's an advantage in the sense that they can't tell our Diplomat to leave unless they have pops in the star system.

Not sure. Probably none yet. Those Habs are massive and slow to tug around. 400,000 pops are headed there.

Just to hubward (north) of Ze Neuotral Zoon-a.

Very nice mineralization. Too big (1,600 km) for Grinders, though.

It's actually possible to set up a colony on this body... CC 6.5 and temperature 944 degrees... but you would want to terraform it right away.

Modrons in Phi Arietis are not a problem, by the way. It's that dead-end star system right next to the Neutral Zone. They aren't going anywhere from there.

It's too small to hold many people (maybe 35 million total) so maybe 10 million (?) working as miners. 200 mines. Plus auto-mines, of course.
