Hi folks, today Skyve couldn't backup my settings etc. so I checked the settings and the backup folder.
I have a backup folder on another drive with full access for anyone but Skyve says it does not have access on this folder and I had to choose another one. I tried to run Skyve as an admin but this doesn't change anything. Created another folder on my backup drive, same error. New folder on my home drive, same error.
Any idea?
 
I"ve "installed" Skyve about 10 times and every time I close the game I have to reinstall it. For whatever reason it just will not stay installed. I have no option to manually install it, just in the Mods section in the game options and every time I load the game it says "Install Skyve"

What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it??
 
Hi there, I just looked into the Skyve log and I just like Sörensen42 I get multiple warnings saying [WARN 7,809] Folder not found: 'C:\Users\USER\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Mods'

For me mods are also stored in [...]/.cache/Mods

Is that a problem I need to fix?

Thank you so much for providing us with this mod! I appreciate all the time and effort going in there.
 
I've been trying to install the latest update for 30 minutes now. I've restarted app and computer multiple times. It downloads each time, but nothing changes and it's still on 1.12.6. Any guidance?
 
I haven't been able to update Skyve from 0.12.6 Beta to 0.12.7. Attempting to run the 0.12.7 installer results in an AppCrash. I tried uninstalling 0.12.6 Beta but then the uninstaller also crashes. I had to uninstall Skyve while in Safe mode.

However, when I try to re-install Skyve by clicking on the option that appears in the CS:II menu the same installer crash seems to occur. I may try installing manually while in Safe mode but would prefer not to...

I figured it out that my anti-virus had silently blocked the setup and uninstaller executables. The error code in Event Viewer was 0xc06d007e which can be caused by such. After adding an exception to the directory of the Skyve setup.exe I was able to install it

Two annotations:

While editing a playset, if you click on the three dots next to the name of your playset and choose to “Delete this playset”, the screen will remain in the (deleted) playset. After deleting, the screen should jump back to the playset overview.

The playset thumbnails should be easy to remove or replaced by a standard stock thumbnail or just a plain sqare.

Great mod, keep up your excellent work! :D
 
Since last update, Skyve did not appear to be fully working. Could not update itself. Could not start CSII. I uninstalled. Then resubscribed to the app. I get the Install Skyve button, but it does nothing when clicked.

Check that you have .net framework 4.8 installed on your computer
 
I have verified that I do have 4.8.1 installed on my computer. Skyve still won't update itself.

Edit: I was able to update by completely uninstalling the mod from my playset and Skyve.exe from Windows. I then installed it again from scratch. It still installed v0.12.6, but it had a button that said an update was available, and this time the update finally worked.

Hi I'm having an issue with Skyve where the compatibility report is not working. It's always loading and the compatibility section for each mod just says "Nothing to see here". Anyone else having this?
 
Hmm... seem like it takes several minutes for Skyve to Log into the Paradox account and the combability report takes a long time as well.
Is there an option to turn off the combability report check thing? Sure, sometimes I would like it on, but most of the times I'm just ready to hit the Launch button to play the game but forced to wait for a while on these syncs and checks and things.
 
What's up with the download speed? To get the region pack, I'd have to leave my PC on overnight. I have a 1 Gb/s connection, so it should be blazing fast like a little race car.
