That looks like the walls of Gotland, at least that's where you normally find it in vanilla.

Its in map/static, although you will want to go to the vanilla crusader kings 2 folder and then to the dlc folder and open dlc063.zip for the conclave stuff.

Speaking of Poland, the shield for d_kujawy is in the middle of d_mazowsze

Ah okay, yeah. Apparently they are buildings that were added in the conclave expansion.

Does anyone know what file controls the location of these buildings on the map?

You don't need to open-edit the game or dlc files.
You can control-edit everything from HIP's map/z_dlc063_cote_static file. Mind you the Dome of the Rock is not in that file but in the statics file in the same folder. ;)

Thanks for the help guys, file has been updated.

Yeah. All the sites are broken in HIP. I have disabled the files for now and I'll fix them during the weekend.

Question:
The issues with the ports and cities mixed up in the seas after a while has been fixed right ?

Cheers.

I'm not sure what your referring to.
Marinakis knows about it.
I have reported the issue and it was fixed before 2 versions, but then came back. ;)

So, I am watching the 76ers' game and messing around with some ideas with my map, what do you guys think of me representing some of the depopulated tribal areas in Central Arabia and Saharan/Libyan Africa using the below method - A central city with a small area of direct control, then a trade route based on historical data of the era?

Feedback, positive or negative, would be appreciated. Keep in mind, this is pretty rough.

Thanks!

Looks beautiful. I've thought of doing something like this but you make it look really good. Better than those huge or stretched out provinces in vanila.

Just to add some background info: SWMH used to wormhole provinces just like that in Arabia before the most recent overhaul there about 2 years ago or so. The team decided to do away with the wormhole idea because 1) it was inconsistent with the rest of the map 2) nomads still moved in and out of those oases, so the area was not as devoid of movement as, say, Rub' al-Khali.

So, I have been working on the Sahara Desert in a oasis setup in the same way I did Arabia, a few days ago, the original wasteland "Sahara Desert" was renamed into the "White Desert" a while back. I cannot fine any readout on a Sahara-related "White Desert" via open source searches. What is the "White Desert?" Is it just some colloquial tern for Northern Sahara since there is no such wasteland currently in the province setup (Despite there being a Western Sahara, Southern Sahara and Libyan Desert [Which is really the Eastern Sahara])?

Thanks!

For those interested, here's a VERY rough version of the Sahara utilizing the oasis model.

The movement lanes are, as best I could, strictly based on well-known trading routes/caravan routes. Logically, invading/defending armies would have to follow those caravan routes with the help of local Berbers.

Please Note: I will have to adjust Egypt's borders. This is something that I can get OCD about and waste a lot of time on, so I have consciously chosen not to touch it yet.
