You are most welcome :) Nice people are always welcome, especially if they are good players too! And you fit that description like a glove :)

Right now, any of the three Scandinavian countries or Croatia would be fine choices to join up as. If you just want to play the existing regent, then you're good to go and can just show up tomorrow night. If not, then try to pick a country and post a chacater sometime this evening.

That goes for you, too, Sterk. I need you to post a character today if you want me to mod your new character before the save file gets posted for dl.

If I got the time I will think of a character, if not I will play whatever the AI managed to create.

And since Hungary got a claim in Croatia king title, I think I will choose some scandinavian country :p

Thanks for the reception, but I doubt that I will play well in my first CK MP game. But well, there is always the joy of making newbie mistakes :D

Well, none of us are that far removed from CK "noob"ness (as the Amazing Disentegrating Kingdoms of CK amply demonstrates ;) ), so you're really not at much of a disadvantage at all....

I think the best option for Arcorelli would be Denmark, which inherited Sweden if I remember correctly.

After seeing the save, I agree with Denmark sounds nice, but there is a catch.

Denmark got elective law. And there is a duke that hold 3 dukedoms. My both children are pretty poor (1-6-0-9 and a 3-6-0-5) so even if I gave them the boht duke titles I hold they are not first in line.
I could try to a) revoke titles or b) killing some people, but -right now- every vassal is pissed off with me, so if I try anything they revolt in masse (and demesne troops are low). I could wait a little, but the king is 56 -any bad dice and I lost my both kingdoms.

The only thing I can think of right now is give to some son the title king of Sweden (that got a sensible law of semisalic primogeniture, so I could try that). Wait for the current king to die and move to Sweden.

The other thing is editing :D If that is allowed, I could prefer a move away from elective, and if possible -and not much to ask- reduce the titles of 2 dukes with multiple dukedoms to one. But the last one is not that important (I can do that ingame being careful and slow), but I really try that dukes don't get multiple titles (they are robbing me of prestige that way :p)

About characters, I ask for a little advice. If the idea is change stats of the current line (not invent new characters) I could prefer to change stats of my sons (since the current king will pass away and he already got adult sons). I think -reading the rules- that I could invent an entirely new character, but I don't get a lot of time to think about a proper backstory for him.

I think editing Denmark to semi-salic law of Arco's choice is very reasonable edit, considering that normally we don't allow Elective for player nations, unless king has no sons. That way Arco doesn't have to deal with harsh choices right away.

Scratch all of that. I move to Norway (they got elective law too, but I can move one son to first position easy enough, I only need to get one demense province more -I got one- and I can give duchies at will).

The only thing that I could ask could be change the stats for my son (Ogmund Yngling, 20 years)

If I understood the rules well, I could like the following:
Fambloyant schemer, reckless (to remain with one of his current qualities), energetic
And a
6 (martial), 7 (diplomatic), 3 (intrigue), 8 (stewardship), 8 and 8 (that are for health and what is called the other one, well that one).

I hope is not too late. If not, well I will have an entertaining time with my

In that case, semi-salic consanguinity (I usually play with primogeniture, so it could be interesting try consanguinity). Although, after playing a little, I prefer Norway now :)

So if that is not too problematic for you guys, I could like semi-salic consanguinity for Norway (and the edited character for the king's son if possible and allowed under the rules).

Well, I have got a new edited character after my first family was screwed. Hyzhenhok got a new edited character after his first family was screwed. Solmyr got a edited character when joining after the beginning. Sterkarm is going to get a new edited character after his first family was screwed.

So it's basically a question about whether or not Patrucio has the time to change the stats for correct son (you can help by finding his ID) and change the law for Norway.

183719 is the ID. If Petrucio didn't got the time I will get an interesting character to play (what things should do a cruel depressive character in game for RP purposes?)

Not as interesting as my previous king, certainly. I had a madman on throne for twenty years. :D (he built three towers of babylon...)

Well, no huge changes this session. Hungary claimed the crown of Croatia; both it and Poland continued to expand into Russian lands to the east; Matthew of England got severely wounded, had worms and pneumonia, and finally died leaving England to his son Charles who is French; and Raoul Capet's grandson and future king of many places is English. :D

For the next session we can see growing tensions between the German-Hungarian and the Polish-Italian alliances (with Norway now joining the former). Will the world erupt in war?

First, I repeat my request that Lappland is annexed to the crown of Norway (no idea why I never could end that war).

And regarding the game, it was kind of funny that nations so big decided to ally with little Norway. Not that I complain :) Although I expect next session the reckless king of Norway to DOW some counties around us that belong to the crowns of Denmark and Sweden that I got claims on, so I am not sure if Norway could intervene next week in european affairs.

Norway can't participate yet in the marriage game (although a nice Rurikovich girl from Hungary is currently our chancellor) since almost all relatives are underage, but we expect that in a few years some proposals will be sent from our frozen lands.

I think Pat should first try is the Lappland "no-peace" bug fixed by rehosting (in this case rehost interval being quite long, but rehost nonetheless), because removing a country is always a tricky edit.
