A solution for Hyz's problem could be to play Italy. While Italy is underpowered, we could fix that somewhat by giving it all of Italy, including Naples, except for Duchy of Calabria (my vassal), Rome, and anything controlled directly or indirectly by human realms.

Why is Calabria more important than Genoa to you? :D

Also I think that giving stuff from other players to Italy wouldn't really be fair to them...

I know I have the Duke of Romagna as a vassal, and I'm not giving him up. :D

That I did.

One of my managers is going on a short vacation this weekend, so I may or may not be working this coming Saturday night. Now, unlike most people, I will be able to play at work (it's good to be the King ;) ), but I shall be playing on a VERY crappy computer. My movie theater shows modnight movies on Saturday nights, so I would be there until about 2 am.

I'll let you know in the next day or two what the exact situation is, but I might need a bit of help getting the craptacular computer I use in my office working well enough to MP. Just a heads-up...

Well if my Steamengine Computer runs well enough to allow MP:ing, your office comp has to be something from earlier stoneage to be unsuitable...

Italy seems to be in a pretty bad position, but I think I'd hvae more enjoyment taking over them instead of continuing on as Aragon, 'France' (Cordoba) or 'Navarra' (Count of Ille de France). Thuogh it pains me to give up my very nicely statted son, the king of Aragon.

Shall I continue France's current dynasty, or make another? Or maybe somehow have the King of Aragon usurp the Kingdom of Italy... ;)

Make a d'Este (the line that currently holds the throne of Italy) and take over that realm. I'll look at the save and either make you a brother or an oldest son (depending on which would make more sense) and I'll add in some of the independent Italian duchies that emerged after the collapse of Naples to your demense (after all, Hungary and Burgundy have been poaching down there- Italy would have too if it weren't ran by the AI.)

Well, the main problem with it is that it always complains about not having enough virtual memory to run CK. Even if I shut down all the other programs, it'll start complaining about 10 minutes into a game. That's why I had to abandon my Luxembourg game...

Do you have empty HD space on that computer? If you do, you can increase the amount HD space comp may use as virtual memory.

How would I do that? I still have about 60% of the HD space free, which is why I was always mystified why the computer thought it didn't have enough space for memory.

The PC is a 1.2 GHz pc with 128 MBs of RAM and 20 GB of hard drive. I'm not sure what all that means, but I know the numbers are smaller than the computer I use at home (I bought a cheaper one for work than at home) and that it doesn't like to do things quickly. If you could help me tweak the computer so I'd be ready to go on Saturday should I need it, I'd be much obliged.

Also, I need your stats asap, Hyzhen, so that I can mod and post the save.

Well, even though I use XP, this is how I change it. Right-click on my computer, go to the advanced tab, go to performance settings, advanced, the virtual memory or paging file size should be there, moddable.

Thanks, Sterk! That seemed to do the trick.

I would advise you to change his traits a little bit, unless valorous is just for flavor or perhaps you wanted it this way, but valorous and reckless cancel each other out, except for the fact that you have increased battle risk. But, I'm guessing it's just for RP?

It is mostly for RP. I put it together without actually calculating the effect the traits would have. I think its plenty plausible for someone to be both reckless and valorous, and its plenty good for roleplaying.
