Last SVN version? Last CK2 version? No other mod?
It worked perfectly for me a few hours ago, so there should not be any issue, but there might be something I don't see

It's the latest CK2 patch with the latest SVN version.

Come back later? SVN isn't a release, it's an active modding version. Maybe a bad line of code got in, maybe a miss-matched file, etc. Considering how often it gets updated I wouldn't sweat it overly much. If you HAVE to play right now roll back until you find a stable revision number and then don't update the SVN in the middle of a game.

You have all the necessary DLC and you're on the correct game version? You've restarted Steam to make sure it actually downloads the mod properly?

Well I have all major expansions and a few portrait packs. But as far as i have understood no dlc is "required" anymore. And yes I have already tried restarting and whatnot.
