It's 2am here and right now loading the games just takes too long. Soldier on without me and here's hoping Bourbon doesn't go the way of Provence... and Flanders... and ...

Guys, i'd just taken Alcacer do Sal from some heathen scum when my game crashed, and I won't be coming back since it's dinner time and I've got some family here.... so, i'll call it a day. :)

We aren't. But when nobody was there anymore we planned to do a one on one Toulouse versus Gascony game with a modified save to have no lieges interfere in it. Only that Fas was too tired in the end. :(

Still we're planning exactly that and Fas wanted to know how to edit the save to get there.

Well sorry I was so slow - I'll try to have nothing running in the background and a clean cache next time and hopefully the Great Firewall will leave me alone.

You know it's because you people were going on and on about +1 b 3+, last time, right?

Say, what do people think of transfering claims between players (by editing the save game as there isn't any in-game way of doing it). I ask because I've got a couple of claims in Northern France that I'm probably never going to use, and it might be fun to trade them to people who'd find them more useful.

I like the idea, but it has to be roleplayed. After all, I doubt that would happen all the time. But in an alliance, the partners could theoretically decide to trade claims.

If you want I'll do the editing, but I don't know if I can play. I'm at home, which means I have not really the access, but should my mother stay at home over the time I could steal her working laptop, which isn't that bad to play on too, and play on this.

Anyway, I hope Shuma can play today, so I'd only sub for somebody else instead.
 
My flatmate attempted to get access to the router this week, so that I could forward the necessary ports, but he couldn't get pass the freakin PR guys at the ISP.

You're all probably quite tired of me writing "oh, can't play this session", but trust me, I'm even more so. So in order for me to stop repeating myself, let me just say that I totaly give up on the whole idea of playing CK multiplayer. Maybe one day when I change apartments and get a normal provider. You guys have fun.
 
That's bad Shuma... but don't give up on it though. Let's go over this again, what connection do you have, what is your modem's model, etc, post that info here so I can see if we can work something out.

About today, i'm free to play as usual though I'll have to take a 30m minute break around 19:00 GMT and then I can resume playing at 19:30 GMT.

No, Vnet is so much faster at sending you the saves that I thought we'd just stick with that.

Well, I'm really, really glad I don't have your ISP.

Just to check, but you don't have any software firewalls running on your comp do you? I was helping a guy connect last week, and he had something like three firewalls of varying types, some that were part of other programs even.
