I'll be offline till late Sunday.
I plan to be in time for the game though. Even if Im not exactly in time, I'll be around for first rehost.

Probably everyone will get his nose into France's internal problems. Even the AI of England could do it.
 
Yeah, it's better to mess in other country's internal problems - at least they don't think how to mess in yours..:D

That's not very good. I hope you will be there soon enough, we need a power in the East.

And if it's only to stop Sterk.
 
What do the rest of you think? Should I pick up Sweden or England? Drachenfire was supposed to fill the english spot but he hasn't been able to make it, nor Ganso, who was supposed to play Sweden.

Both areas are pretty much taken by now. But I think you should take Sweden. You wanted to play in Scandinavia, then stay there. You could still claim English lands after all.

That doesn't matter too much. I was rather thinking which position that was most important to fill to generally improve the game. But if no one objects then Sweden it is.
 
Btw Varyar, why don't you start as the duchy of apulia, and pledge your loyalty to byzantium? After their ruler is dead, you get to be the Emperor (if byz still have elective laws, and if apulia is still strong)... either that or start with byzantium from the start. I don't think we actually need sweden, but that's my opinion. Sweden always kicks ass in Eu2.

EDITED: the save game you posted, Lurken, must be corrupted... i downloaded it a couple of times and tried to unzip it, but i can't... it has 0kb... Am i the only one with this problem?

Also it's against the rules.

Edit: Byzantium is pretty much dead.

Try updating your zip program. I had a similar problem with the official patch, where several files were "missing" when I unzipped because I used an old version of WinRAR.

As for Byzantium, it's not really in an area that needs more players, since we have Bulgaria and Serbia. And it's about to become Seljuq-ed. There are really only two areas that needs filling and that's Britain and Scandinavia.

I wasn't aware rabid expansionism these days consisted of declaring war to stop an unceasing enemy advance upon my neighbors and taking one province to try to put just one chink in the Russian behemoth's armor. :D

I was referring to your conquest of the baltics. They soon will be dead it seems to me.

Well Poland need the Baltics to be a player, otherwise it is dead.

There seems to be massive screwup with timezones as per daylight savings..:(

If you read this in next 30minutes, dont hesitate to go to Vnet.
