Lightmap files and boundbox.tbl work in the game, adjacent does not (game crashes with "Install the latest milestone").

How to maintain the country names on the 3rd zoom level?
 
No, index.tbl should not be 0 kb.

So you put the lightmaps and boundbox in the game map folder and they work, but when you put adjacent it fails?

How big is adjacent.tbl? Is it around 207 - 208 kb? If not, please upload it.

What is wrong with the 3rd zoom level? Do the country names disappear or something?

The tiles.bmp is way smaller then the original one and doesn't show any tiles, only the green background.

In the 3rd zoom level (maximal zoomed out) the province names should disappear and the country names appear, but the province names stay and the country names aren't there.
 
This presents a problem.

In the current implementation, only the deepest zoom is recorded, and the other three layers are created from the shrinking of the first layer. The country names apparently do not appear on the first layer, and thus they do not appear anywhere.

To those people who want to create new maps: What do you think should happen?

I downloaded the last version (1.05) but don't work

When i load mapviewer.exe, and press "Go" the program down, and the mapmaker requires a psd.txt

Can you explain step-step how can i do?

What exactly happens when you press "Go"? Is MapViewer in the same place as HoI2.exe?

To make a map, first start MapViewer with the argument -extract.

A folder called "exported maps" will be created, this folder will contain psd.txt and a bunch of images. Copy all of it to where MapMaker is.

Run MapMaker, and do steps 1 - 6 in that order.
 
I have problems with the first point (mapviewer -extract)

Never end correctly, in offset=(504,0) or offset=(288,216) or other offset the progam crash.

The error : 'System.Outofmemoryexception'.CoreLib

What is the last offset? is (864,288)?

How much free memory do you have?

The last one is 864,288

You can extract the map bits at a time with the more complicated extract command (type mapviewer -help)

I recommend doing -extract(504,0,72,72,13,5) because apparently you made it there.
 
First of all congrats for this Jamie, is the biggest achievement in Hoi2 since.... the beginning of the game probably.

Second: Could you write instructions on how to use it or, at least how to install it? because i think i'm making something wrong because almost every option gives me an error.

PD: I have created images.txt in the game folder but i don't generally understand how it workd.
