Yep, continuously. I guess it didn't create since I was able to export using the GUI after one click. I think I figured out the images.txt on my own just a bit ago though (it remains empty?), but now that I can bring up the mapmaker menu, it doesn't do terribly much since it seems that it can't make the initial radishes (nothing's created).

What is written, Добруџа (Добруджа) or Добрич? It is not transparent.

Добрич (Dobrich). Another possible name for this province is Silistra (Силистрa), but for sure is wrong to be named Constanta (this city is ~40km north from this province borders).

Indeed. We had discussion about that in Uber Balkan Mod thread. Are you interested in joining us? We lack information about Bulgaria.

Jamie, it appears that i have framework 2.0. First, I need to install new version.

With the new mapmaker for hoi2, the adjacent.tbl don't work, and tiles.bmp size is 20,2MB

You can't export from the GUI with one click. Trust me. (You can export lightmap4, but that is not enough).

Instead, on the commandline type "Mapviewer -extract"

Then images.txt should have text in it.
All right. When I clicked export, I got four png files: Zoom_4_504_0.borders, Zoom_4_504_0.colorscales, Zoom_4_504_0.ProvID and Zoom_4_504_0.tiles. I guess those comprise lightmap4?

All right. I have installed Framework 3.5, successfully opened MapViewer and exported South Europe. When I started MapMaker, only step one could be executed, step two reports an error and the program crushes. I loked in radish folder, but there is nothing, after step one.
During first execution of the program, It reported that file images.txt should be in the same place as *.exe. Since I could not find the file, i made it. maybe that is the mistake. Please help. Thank you.

Error report content is:

P4 : system.core P5 : 3.5.0.0 P6 : 47314127 P7 : 5cc P8 : 4a
P9 : system.invalidoperationexception

Myth, Vladimir II: Do not use the "Export" button in the GUI.

Instead, type "MapViewer -extract" (without quotes) in the commandline.

quintelosky: Failure of tiles.bmp is known. Do you have MapMaker v2.1.1 (and adj-mod.txt, available at the downloads)? That should fix the adjacent problem.

Where are the steps for MapMaker? I can't seem to start it. I will now describe the error and that:

I clicked on mapviewer.exe and clicked show tiles and show grid. then I clicked go and I got the message "Mapviewer has stopped working, Windows is trying to solve this problem" any ideas why?

Okay I might have done something wrong, but where and how do you actually edit the text on the map? In photoshop?

Basic
Do you have .NET Framework 3.5? Yes
Do you have CoreLib.dll in the same folder as MapViewer and MapMaker? Yes
If you have Vista, do you have the game folder not in Program Files? No
Do you have a recent version (i.e. one still up for downloading)? Yes
