Prinz Wilhelm: instead of just -extract, type -extract(ZZZ,0,72,72,13,5) where ZZZ is the last xOffset that you reached.

Jamie, thank you for these tools! :)

I succeed to change a province name! :D
The process takes a lot of time on my old PC, but works!

Thank you again!

Screenie?

So when I'm back home to my computer, I'll be able to create new provinces as well as changing names on the map (Soviet Union to Russia i.e.)?

This is the best news ever announced on this part of the forum!

I'm confused by this stuff about images.txt. The file isn't created, but I don't know what I'm supposed to put in it even if I do create it.

Well I do my change in MSPaint and didn't take into account where Airfields and other objects were placed in that province, so half of the name is behind an airfield  and is ugly but is in cyrilic :D

What is written, Добруџа (Добруджа) or Добрич? It is not transparent.

When I try to open MapViewer, it omens an error window with this content: AppName: mapviewer.exe AppVer: 6.1.0.0 AppStamp:482ea364
ModName: kernel32.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 ModStamp:411096b4
fDebug: 0 Offset: 0001eb33

Is there a way to fix it?
