We could, but it would look strange.
In case you don't have the file:

Counters and sprites (army) can but mustn't have different positions, that's why I had both in and it looks like you don't have.

BTW, does anyone know wherefore Terrain x;Terrain Y;Terrain variant;Fill coord X;Fill coord Y in the province.csv are?

Looking in province.csv, I couldn't find positions for counters or radars.

The things that were there were City, Army, Antiair, Beach, Port, and Fort

The question is where do rocket test sites, nukes, radar, costal forts, and other objects go? Are their positions derived from some of the other values?

Think that fillcoordx, y terrain x, y variant do nothing

Will think about beaches

The counter position is these two coloums
Counter x; Counter Y: they are right after AA pos.

The radar positioen is incorperated into the AA position. If you load up a 1941 as UK you can clearly see that all radar icons are just above the AA icon.

The resources Energy and rares are also tied to the AA position, just to the left of AA.

IC is tied to the City position which is used in HOI as airbase position. Its left of airbase slightly higher.

Rocket sites are also tied to city(airbase) position just to the right of Airbase.
Not sure about nukes but i think they are next to rocketsites.

Coastal and landforts uses same position the fort position.
Army is sprite position.

Metal i think is tied to forts but not sure, oil i cant remember.

EDIT: Nukes are placed right ontop of airbases (city pos)

But counterx and countery are usually empty :confused:

Here is the current ObjectEditor and HoI objects.txt file. To use, you need settings.txt.

Download link

Hopefully somebody can figure out the correct information

Comments on the UI are also welcome.

Usually yes but not always (see province 76 or 107).

EDIT: ObjectEditor process is running but the gui doesn't show up.
Log file is empty.

After killing ObjectEditor, is log.txt still empty?

settings.txt is correct and in ObjectEditor's folder? So is objects.txt?

Lightmap1Width=936
Lightmap1Height=360
NumLightmaps=4
LightmapOffsetWidth=4
IdsAreNewWay=true
IndexTblValueWidth=4
GamePath=D:\Programme\Paradox Interactive\Doomsday

I'm posting a screenshots and I want to know where I make it wrong:

I'm starting MapViewer:
untitled-25.jpg

Exporting the map:
untitled2-12.jpg

Copying the files from "exported maps" to the hoi directory (where map maker is)
untitled3-3.jpg

And when I try to start "MapMaker" this appears:
untitled4.jpg

I only want to know how to change the province names. Please explain with simple words because I have poor english :(

Sorry could you post some help for me :D

I would only like to know has anybody succeeded in creating new provinces? I would like to do this:
ScreenSave0.jpg

To transform province Venice, into three provinces: Venezia (Venice - the one at the left size), Trieste (the middle one), and Rijeka (the one adjacent to YUG border, containing peninsula Istria, and narrow belt of land to north). And of course, renaming Yugoslav province Rijeka to, for example Karlovac. Is that possible?
