You haven't use TNW_patch. Maybe you tried to use it with not 1.3a EXE-file.

Have you patched your DoomsDay to 1.3a version, as it had been written in instructions (official patch)? Are you really sure, that you patched game successfully in this way? Then you start the game, you see in right upper corner 1.3A letters, yes? If you have some troubles i can give you the link to unpacked 1.3A patch, which doesn't need instalation, only unpacking into mod directory.

Well it had stronger heavy industry, but still overall it even today after fast growth in recent years about 40 % weaker than Poland. :wacko:

Obviously it is large country, but in the entire region only Poland could claim the status of regional power - and only with difficulty . Of course it is your mod, but if you want realism in the project lowering ukrainian IC to about 38-40 with increase of that of Poland to about 58 is perfectly justified. :)

Sorry, i didn't notice your post ;( Sorry!
IC values were calculated on the real values of industry part of GDP of countries. Ukraine has much more (heavy) industries, than Poland.
Ukraine will have lots of bad events at game start, so political domination of Poland will be represented (the same thing with Russia and others) ;)

Also - don't you want to create 1996+ years ministers for Poland? Not very much, few tens will be enough, i think.

This is good patch digoo! good work.
But can you correct this thing - province Uzice in Bosnia in the real world is in Serbia. This is not a big mistake but for small countries like Serbia it is important. Anyway you did a good work.

Just ignore my problems. I can't even uninstall my game anymore.

Who ignores your problems? Can't uninstall? Creating of a copy of HoI2 directory doesn't create instalation reg_keys. Can't understand your sequence of actions.. %-/
Anyway:
Just delete currect TNW mod, make another copy of clear HoI2-DD directory (if you don't what to patch to 1.3a your original game), rename it. Unzip archive with 1.3A patch into this new directory (link in your PM). Then follow readme-instructions.

No, this province is not Uzice, by territory it is Bosnia land (larger part of province). It is renamed to some Bosnia name.

Fine. If you based it on the value of the heavy industry it is all right. ;)

I would suggest ading some 'investment' events to all countries, especially in our part of Europe this way the player could sacrifice some resources to increase his IC. Nation specific events could also be added, but it is a hard job...

I can try.
For the start I suggest using those from Modern Day Scenario - they have Poland pretty well prepared in this particular area.

Next week I will try your mod once again and for sure check what can be added/changed. I think it will add much more in some areas just like alternative weaponry tree - just like with Polish planned MBTs - existing PT 91 'Hardy' and only proposed like MBT 'Gorilla' (similar to Leopard II which now is used by our army).

Polish politics was extremely dinamic after 1989 so preparing ministers might be a little tricky, but we will see. :cool:

I think, 20-30 or even 40 politics in 1996-2002 will be enough. 2003+ politics will be from MDS.
Can you really create necessary politics in 1,5-2 weeks, to include them into new version? You must promise, and in this way i won't spend my time to create them, will do other countries.

Yes, in two week's time I can.

Though it means providing photos and their 'virtues/vices' - I can't do much graphic work for this game...

Just save their face in any graphic file and give this file name in ministers database, if you don't want to make faces into TNW format (black-and-white, 2px border). I will cover picture myself.
I hope you will finish till 22nd may ;)
 
I like most of what you've done here, but a couple comments.

1. I think israel needs more nukes. IRL, they probably have over 300. more nukes and more missiles to deliver them.
2. and maybe some israel specific events about recieving help from the USA in the form of tech blueprints, supplies, military hardware, and cash.
3. will the ai in this mod build new units and try to actually win? or will they just sit there and support their current armies?
4. planning to upgrade this to armegeddon?
