It's interesting you mentioned that because I did control Maldives and Scrota...
Hm, Scrota [Socotra]... Do a quick search of what does the male form of that (in that form inexistent) word in Italian mean, and then have a good laugh like me ;)

I'm guessing scrotum.

...and yeah, I'm not so great at recalling the exact spelling of every demesne name.

It's a rather famous island in the Indian Ocean, one of the biggest in fact... but ok.

So its definition is not testicular in nature... Oh well, so what does it really mean?

By the way, I could have made a "one of the biggest" jokes... maturity, what has thou done to thine humor?

"In the notes to his translation of the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea, G.W.B. Huntingford remarks that the name Suqotra is not Greek in origin, but from the Sanskrit dvīpa (Skt. "island") sukhadhara ("supporting, or providing bliss").[4] Another probable origin of the name is the Arabic "Suq" meaning "market" and "qotra" meaning "dripping frankincense".[5]"

So potentially bliss island. Does that make a scrotum joke apt?

This has to be the most hilarious thing I have seen in some time. I created an anti-pope and installed him as Pope. I then make him my court chaplain. Now... my Pope/court chaplain is telling me about this new religion called Catholicism.

Well, the pope is an imbicile. Maybe he just wanted to make sure you were in the one true faith (tm)
(Also, 16 learning with military education... That is impressive. Almost brings a tear to the eye.)

Let an observer game run all night, and woke up this morning to look around. Tengri reformed and only one follower of Old Tengri remains. Norse has five adherents (never had the Norse fail as hard as they did in this game), the rest have gone Catholic. Judaism is gone. Hungary is now Teutonic Knights. Karlings are barely holding on in East Francia. And then I saw this and thought it was funny.

Holds none of its de jure counties, and is currently trying to form Finland. One more thing,

Not sure how weird this is, but I've never seen the Irish take Scotland before.

In my Amalfi TOG start game, Ireland-Alba is the local superpower on the Isles. It started in fact in Alba, and then united Ireland.

It happens fairly often in TOG. In my Great Moravia game, an Irish dynasty unitet Alba and Ireland. They lost both of it later on and Ireland now controls half of England and is ruled by the Hvitserk dynasty. :D

I find the English Norse kingdoms to either go christian or get completely obliterated. Didn't see a non-player-assisted norse realm survive on the Isles yet.

Which is perfectly historically correct. Just boring.

In one game the Welsh (Strathclyde, no less!) conquered Scotland and completely replaced Scottish culture with Welsh, eventually conquering much of Britannia before changing their primary title to Wales.
