Meet my 5 years old genius, strong daughter with better stats at the age of 5 than some of my vassals at the age of 30.
And she's low in succesion.
Life sucks.

That is only if there are any Karlings alive left at all where he is playing.
I see Hungary, I see Wallachia, I see the Pechenegs, I see Kiev, I see Sicily.

Very unlikely.

Exactly. Even if he started in 1066, the last Karling of Vermandois usually dies without an heir, or his dynasty is wiped out within 2 generations.

You say that, but once the last AI Karling, 1066, took over France in my game.

Ok. I'm new to the game (I'm currently ongoing with 1st play-through ) so not sure if this is something new or not. In the middle of Finland I have a county not owned by anyone. Can't be conquered by anyone since it has no owner :)

OK, that's new. Are there any holdings inside it? It could be a glitch caused by one of the events which can destroy holdings happening to the only holding

(if there are, you want to fix this, and you're not on Ironman, you can give the county to someone by console, which should work)

Serious Bug, you should report it on the bug report forum and provide a save if you can.

Ok. I'll do that. I didn't realized it myself only when I started to go and conquer the northern areas. It's been "dead" for centuries. (last owner died in 832 in battle). First I thought it was a lake not a county... ;))

Just murder your other kids and she'll be next in line!
Did it. And changed succesion type, so she's now my heir. Those are her stats:

Also, in another save I had marshal with 39 martial, but I can't find the game.

You better kill yourself now, otherwise you'll live to the ripe old age of 90 while she lives to the ripe age of died of pneumonia.

And her first son will get the worst possible traits with the best possible education, while her other children will be better than Chuck Norris. And you will die before you are able to kill him and he will inherit everything, with his genius strong brothers going to courts of their wives.

Better murder any Karling descendants from other dynasties, just in case. That gave me a nice idea for some future game...
I tried killing them all once with intrigue focus. There was one last Karling ruling a Kingdom(Bavaria I think), matri-married to my kinswoman and he had around 10 children of my dynasty and the other Karlings were two 45+ women. I was sure that was the end of it. A few decades later I see two kingdoms ruled by Karlings again because I didn't pay any attention to him. He had married again when he was 70+ and had more children, who came to rule these two kingdoms and they already had a bunch of heirs.

This guy suddenly gained independence from my empire. Notice the diplomacy section. He's not revolting against anyone.

I only hope that one day he can finally end the tyranny of GetFirstName!

Kill them all and let god sort them out. It's the only way. They breed like imperious rabbits.
