Deus VultCatholic Russia???? HOW DARE YOU
Catholic Russia???? HOW DARE YOU
Erm I might be wrong , but he's called "The Stranger" for apparent reason
Edited : Pressed Enter accidentaly. But in all seriousness, I couldn't find Orthodox girl to kidnap, and the Magyar Khagan next door just decided to believe in Jesus, so well have to be satisfied with Queen of Great Moravia or I will be swallowed whole.
Trust me I wanna be an Orthodox too instead of Catholic![]()
I can understand that. I'm currently a Slavic Norse in my Kiev game and I'm desperately trying to kidnap an Orthodox woman, or wait for the ERE to send a priest over. Orthodox fits better due to the history but Catholic can be lots of fun I bet!![]()

A pious, lazy homosexual called Francois. I think i'm entirely alone in finding this funny and might be a Frenchist by posting it, but I chuckled.

Not to downplay the result of your game, but this should happen with some regularity, right? Since the Umayyads are Sayyid, it suffices that the Abbasid Caliphate is destroyed and the Umayyad leader has more than 1000 piety for this to happen (if I am not wrong), which is nice.![]()
The Caliphate of Cordoba... the AI managed to reach it. (and call yihads, of course)
Historial note: In 921 Abd-ar-Rahman III proclaimed himself Caliph, and opossed to the Damascus one. In CK2 there's not two Sunni Caliphates, because the Umayyads disbanded at 1031.

Well, it can happen sometimes - via internal revolts, changes of religion etc.In the earlier startdates, it's pretty difficult for the Abbasid Caliphate to be destroyed - it normally stays tied to the Arabian Empire, and so it normally takes Empire being destroyed to get rid of it.
