Apparently the Sahara Desert is part of Eastern Europe
Well it certainly isn't part of Western Europe, so I don't really so what other parts of Europe it could be.

This must have been some freakishly lucky early PU, as you can see England still had all its original possessions in France too. I looked back on the timeline and Austria was conquering the Irish OPMs for himself back in the 1470s already, at this rate he's gonna gobble up the whole of Europe, meanwhile I had to wait to the early 1540s for Portugal to colonize a province next to me so I could reform.

This is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Sirhind (you know, the one from south Asia) somehow inherited Lusatia while being Sunni. It's an ironman screenshot, no mods, achievements enabled.

A couple from a recent France game:

Aragon lost the Naples PU, then got beaten in a war by Castile and had to release Sicily. Naples then conquered Sicily and formed Two Sicilies.

Unfortunately I'm at a loss to explain this one, but in almost 1500 hours it's my first AI Iceland. I can only guess they've been released from Norway/Denmark at some point. Due to their alliances, they're also now at war with the Ottomans.....

So I looked back at the save using pdx.tools and yeah, England fell under a PU with Austria on the 2nd of January 1445. Aragon contested it and lost the war by early 1450, and Austria started the war for the first Irish OPM in 1462.

Here is a fun game with Russia, where the constant division in the Iberian Peninsula prevented the formation of Spain and resulted in the appearance of unicorns such as Aragonese Greenland and Tunisian Australia.

But that's not the funniest part: after a war with a gigantic Delhi, I released the Ilkhanate. I thought he would appear in the Ormuzian possessions of Delhi, but not at all: the Ilkhanate here is a Buddhist OPM in Ordos, Mongolia.

This is the weirdest thing AI did when i was playing outside of Europe. I mean, it would be considered extremly successful for any human player.

Not sure how strange this is since I am returning to playing after not for a while, but it shocked me.

Super Mughals from the AI, they are about to annex all of Malwa. Prior to the war they had 100k in their army.
They have eco ideas finished and despite a "diplomat" ruler have half the world set to vital interest.
I've never seen the AI timmys this successful this fast and they are giving me a run for my money in this game.

It's not that strange anymore. One of the patches after Emperor reworked how the AI views strategic/vital interest provinces in relation to their culture group. Mughals because of the diwan tend to view the whole world as their rightful clay, I'm pretty sure if that ruler wasn't a diplomat more of the world would be red.
