Ancient Relics, obviously.

The 2.3 patch introduced Relics and Archaeology into the game. ALL the Archaeology events are in the DLC, but modders can make digsites without the DLC.

A bunch of Relics can only be gotten from Ancient Relics events, but there's plenty in both the base game AND other DLC. Each of the Crises have a Relic, with or without the Ancient Relics DLC, and so does the Great Khan.

(Also, that event fires whether you have the perk or not- presumably, its the Caravaneers who have the technology for it even if you don't.)
