Here's the last batch from my old playthrough:
It's always fun to open a box and find enough alloys for several megastructures. Between two of these reliquaries and the Continuum, I acquired and spent nearly 400k alloys in a single day. I queued up so many battleships that I ran out of minor artifacts and had to make a new design, and I could only afford that fleet because it took a while to actually build them.
The devs: "It would be fun to scale this situation based on how many researchers you have."
The player: "Researchers go brrrr"
Oh no, the Prethoryn have found my one weakness: ship upkeep!
They've exclusively invaded systems inside a particle storm, and there's no way I can afford to fight a war there. At least, not for the next 3 years or so.
That swirling mass of strike craft means that there's Prethoryn there. Somewhere. Probably.
...and they said pops cause late-game lag.
Something's not adding up here...
Pretty sure this is from all those strike craft not showing up, because they can't actually miss.

It can tell you if a storm is coming into your territory and what route it will generally take.
Yes, it is.
In my screenshot, it shows 3 storms of different types, forecasted to keep swirling inside my territories (as i expected with lots and lots of storm attractions setup).
It depends on whether you treat storms as something that just happens randomly or whether you want to monkey around with manipulating them. I'm in the first camp.
We will blockade all the trade coming through this system, ALL OF IT!!!
