OK, I'm really upset now. I am a huge fan of EUII and was looking forward to CK since the day it was announced. As far as I understood, it was to be a combined effort by Paradox and Snowball, with Snowball in charge. I still check this forum from time to time, although it has been rather barren since Snowball stopped posting here. Recently, I started checking their official website and forums and was greatly upset by what was written there. According to Snowball posters there, there will be two Crusader Kings games, one by Snowball, and one by Paradox. Paradox's game will run on the old EU engine, whereas Snowball's will have their own engine. Also, while both games will have the same theme and setting, Paradox will stress global strategy, whereas Snowball will place emphasis on global role playing or something like that. I haven't seen either Paradox or Snowball say that before, and unless I missed it, I feel duped. Something like this should have been clearly communicated to fans long before. I also have many questions, such as how exactly will the games differ in detail, will we be able to purchase both, and the obvious one, wouldnt it ve been better to combine the best elements of the two games and produce one great one instead of all this hassle?
