Hey guys, I'm finally here. Sorry about being late, I fell asleep and just woke up. :D Anyway, on the next rehost pick me up.

Sorry I didn't make it. Couldn't stay awake long enough.

Hope y'all had fun.

if sleep is an issue take lik a 2-3 hour nap before hand and get an alarm clock to wake you up for laters.

Didn't have time for that yesterday I'm afraid.

Guys, sorry aout the router issues last night. I hope you got in some good time. Hopefully, I can catch someone to test this before hand.

Sid,

I hope you didnt think I was being an ass. One, I was just trying to find out how to do that on my own. Last, the sesssion needed to get started. Especially, after we did not have one last week.

We played seven years, from 1275 to 1282. The AI was remarkably aggressive: The German AI DOWed me and got trounced, mainly because it would insist on besieging Holland with 40k troops and losing half of them to attrition. Oh, and Sid sent across some English troops to bite my ankles, but the technology of "tying your bootlaces" has apparently not spread that way yet, since the English kept stumbling over theirs, which meant they consistently lost battles in anything even close to equal numbers. For some curious reason, he gave up just after I pointed out, in a completely casual way, that I had 300 more prestige than I needed to grab a claim to the throne of England. This was possibly a little fortunate for him, since that turned out to be three weeks before the German AI threw in the towel, which again occurred two weeks before I became Papal Controller. But I digress. The French AI then DOWed Germany. Also, my King died; my new one is named Asbjørn.

Incidentally, Denmark strongly objects to the English practice of referring to our holdings on the isle as 'northern England'; if this is not stopped, we will demand the return of the southern Danelaw. :D

(Seriously, I'm now heavily outmatched by both Germany and France, but I'm feeling my oats a bit after giving the AI a good drubbing like that. :) )

You can download it from here - it's not edited yet, though. Although three months' income is getting to be a little bit trivial anyway, come to that. Maybe we could come up with a different cookie.

KoM,

Thanks for the link to the save. Storing it on a Stanford server?? My opinion of your IQ just went up a few notches:)

To bad the AI went through 28k gold while I was gone. Now, to talk to wil about ending this war.

I doubt I'll be able to make it tonight. I'm going to give it a try. But don't wait around for me.

Hey all. I'm not going to be able to play tomorrow because it's my birthday :D and I'm having some friends over. Sorry about the late notice, wasn't sure whether it was going to be on Friday or Saturday.

Hum. Might be just me and fj then, unless fasq, Sid or germax should show. If it's just two people, should we cancel? I mean, I'll have fun dealing with my rebellious nobles, and fj will have fun annexing Germany, but...

Game recap: We played from 1282 to 1290. Cc, fj and I get cookies; wil was also present. fj has a new King, Burchard. Northern Scandinavia erupted in rebellion against my rule; Denmark is now a mere shadow of its former self.
