Ultima Ratio Regnum : A new game begins!

Isn't the Il-Khanate supposed to arrive at some point? Wouldn't be surprised if Russia/Byz deals with them, though. So after that there's the Black Death.

So, game recap since I'm here anyway: We played from 1247 to 1252. fj, Corv, cc and Germax get ontime cookies. Bohemia used its pagan DOW for Laurencz to DOW Bezhetsky Verh. Hungary has a new king, Gyula. A crusade was declared against Byzantion, leading all of us except Wil to DOW the poor Fatimids. Cc annoyed most of the Western world by being the first across the walls of Constantinople, which fits nicely in with his collection of Venice, Genoa, and Alexandria. Several edits were agreed to, in addition to Corv's cosmetic ones above:

France and Germany swap Dijon for Auvergne and Almeria for Provence.
Germany and Denmark swap Gelre-Wolgast-Anhalt for Forz-Dauphine Viennois-Chur.
Duke of Orlean from Calabria to France, presumably for goodwill.

I'll skip the edits giving stuff to Leon, since its last province is under siege by the Moslems. Looks like I'll have to rebuild the damn place, when I have some pagan DOWs to spare. And this time I'll try to find a more competent relative.
 
Il-Khanate had already come and gone. Like I said, the Seljuks are the only major power left that is non-Christian.

Yes, Byzantion was a nice addition. I am still in a little shock that Corvinus said I "betrayed" him by taking it. I thought the fatimids owned it.

Oh well, the next few years promise to be interesting.
 
Edits are done. Here is Corv's event:

Creation of the "Order of Saint Regulus", or "The Greek
Catholic Order"

In the year 1247 Pope Clement V (who in order to convert the north has made his seat in the Baltic after losing Rome to the heretics) met with Julius Theodoros Konstantin while visiting France. The Duke had great influence on the Pope, and on his suggestion the Pope declared the creation of the first Greek-Roman Catholic Order, with Saint Regulus for its patron.

The order's main goal was to defeat the muslims and to reconquer the lands once belonging to Byzantine Empire, now a bloody battlefield between warlords while the weak Russian emperor focuses on his Russian domains and not the expansions of the muslims, who by now had conquered the whole of Anatolia and also sat in Constantinople.

The Order gained new bases in Consenza, Foggia, Siracusa, Smyrna, Alexandria, and on the newly gained Malta. Also, the Pope made the first Grandmaster of the Order of
St. Regulus Bartolomeios Leo, the son of Julius Theodoros.

Game recap: We played from 1252 to 1259. Corv, cc, fj and I get ontime cookies. Corv has posted an AAR here, and therefore gets an AAR reward, the first one handed out in a long time. Cc has a new king, Louis.

Hmm, what time is this game again.
 
Well, I'm going to try and be there for next session, though at this point I'm not sure if I'll be joining perminantly. We'll see how it goes this time.

Welcome, fasquardon! Let's hope you survive getting up so early/staying up so late, it can be pretty brutal. Now, just to make sure we have the right time, these are the considerations:

We begin at Eastern time 2230.
GMT is 5 hours ahead of this, 0330. Norway (I assume this is your location?) is still another hour ahead, 0430.
The US is currently on Summer Time. Norway, as far as I know, is not. That means GMT is actually only four hours ahead of EST, so that puts us back to 0330 Norwegian time.

Highly non-ideal, I must admit! Of course, if I've got your location or summer-time status wrong, things change. But anyway that's what it looks like to me.
 
Right, so game recap. We played from 1259 to 1266. fj, wil, cc and I get ontime cookies - I won't give Corv one since he's dropping. Everybody got new kings; Hamelin for wil, Alphonse and then Louis for cc, Inge for me, and Gerhard for fj. wil used his pagan DOW for Hamelin, and I used mine for Inge.
