• We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Quoting foreign documents is permissible, but please a) also translate the quotations and b) keep the discussions in English, as per forum rule #7.
Rule 7. "Except for the specially designated "other language" forums all posts are to be in English as that is the common language of the Moderators."

There are no posts only in any other language except eng. lang. in this topic. So, there is no breaking of the rule. If you know another method to transfer sounding of russian names with latin letters, let me know. ;) But you should to know, that latin letters don't fit to rus. names. :) So, there is the only way to give correct rus. name. This can help to the map creator, because he could make own transliteration by using on-line verbalizator (I've posted this link before). Any more questions?

The posts are to be in English, if the majority is in another language, the post is not in English, is it?

The reason not writing in English is seen as rude is that most people can't read it, and especially not when you apply a different alphabet.

And if you are so picky about rules, read number 2. :)

I have 1.1 of FTG and installed 2.02b from the frontpage, and every scen for (I think) every nation causes CTD at start except for Napoleon (I've only tried Spain there so far). It gives no error messages, and it happens just as the map comes on screen. This a 100% clean install of FTG that I haven't messed with, no other mods.

Try this:

Those CTDs are tricky, sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't, but globally, the mod is stable enough and really pleasant to play, so keep trying

I have these as well and they have been reported.. I can't seem to understand what the issue is. But if you guys would try to remove the lines in the end of the scenario files linking to event files and start. Report back if it helps.

Removed include = "db\events.txt" helps ->
10 times tested and 0 CTDs :)
BTW queston is - what event cause this CTDs on the start :p

I started a game as USA. And beyond the cool map, the timeframe of Watkaboi is awesome! I love the decolonization of the americas. Never had that with vanilla or agceep iirc.

Another bug however (year 1802):
Code:
ERROR: (monarchtable. unexpected field) 'id = {' Line = 32 file = db\monarchs\monarchs_TES.txt

Not help. 2 CTDs on 3 tries.

Okay thanks. Now when you get time try without the random events instead.

Thanks corrected now. :)

Hmm. It is very strange. I actually got it to run on 1337 yesterday, after I'd been playing the 18 c. scenario for a while. I just quit and restarted. Today I ran it again for 1337, then restarted as another country in the same scenario and it started crashing again. I haven't changed the files or options at all. And I tried playing the Napoleon scenario again too, but it didn't help.

Gremlins. That's the only explanation I can think of.

It is bug in event.
Currently this bug is in file x from:
Code:
event = "db\events\major_TeutonicOrder.txt"
event = "db\events\major_Texas.txt"
event = "db\events\major_Tibet.txt"
event = "db\events\major_Timurids.txt"
event = "db\events\major_Toulouse.txt"
event = "db\events\major_Transylvania.txt"

Testing...

Edit:
Bug is somewhere here:
Code:
event = "db\events\major_TeutonicOrder.txt"
event = "db\events\major_Texas.txt"
event = "db\events\major_Tibet.txt"

Edit2:
Bug is in the:
Code:
event = "db\events\[COLOR="Red"]major_TeutonicOrder.txt[/COLOR]"

Very interesting mod. I especially like your setup of the Danish 1337 situation ;)

Now, I have a question: is it possible for you to host a high-res province map?
