Thank you so so much for the recommendation! It means a lot to me and I hope I can continue writing exciting new chapters in the near future!

While it's quite early to pass the torch to another worthy writer (probably because I'd forget to nominate :p), I believe that he deserves the attention for his wonderful project. I'd love to recommend Bleu, Blanc et Rouge: A History of France in Three Colors by @slothinator for a solid alternate history of France that doesn't disappoint. It's a wonderful story that deserves more attention and I believe that it's worthy for the Showcase :)

Oh man! I didn't expect that! Thank you for your kind words! I'll have to get to thinking about a successor then!

Congratulations!

Thank you so much!

It would be my pleasure to nominate @RossN for their A Kingdom in the Clouds: A Ü-Tsang AAR – another excellent piece of work from, in this reader’s opinion, one of the most consistently brilliant writAARs around.

I’ve greatly enjoyed seeing the highs and the lows of the Purgyal dynasty’s rule on the Tibetan Plateau, and I’m sure there are many other out there who would enjoy it just as much.

Indeed, @RossN is a marvelous authAAR. Congrats man!

Many congratulations @RossN

Wow! Thank you so much for this honour. :)

Strange as it may seem 'Kingdom in the Clouds' was very nearly a Victoria 2 AAR. Or rather, I had seriously considered playing a Qing AAR in that game after my Spanish Victoria 2 and Sicilian Rome games ended abruptly via computer problems. It had been a while since I tried CK2 though so that won me over and I guess the idea of an East Asian/Central Asian game just still appealed to me.

It has been a lot of fun writing this story and playing this game and because I'm writing from the point of view of Tibet it feels very different from every other CK2 game I've tried, while still having all the old fun I love about this game from assassinations to rebellions and plagues - and once in a while something going right. The culture and history are just fascinating and it feels like I have an opportunity to go in different directions.

Anyway thank you again DensleyBlair, and thank you everyone for your kind words!

As much as I’ll rue the fact we’ve missed out for now on your talents livening up the Vicky forum, watching you play the Tibetan game has let me explore a side of CK I always overlook. The pleasure is all mine. :)

Many congratulations, @RossN.

My apologies everyone for not passing along this award sooner but unfortunately I have been away from these forums more than I like.

I'd like to nominate an Imperator AAR I have only just begun following, Rome, All there is is Rome, Glorious and Alone -- Paxus Roma by @jasondroth24, a fine narrative story in a section of AARland that could sometimes do with more love. It's still fairly early on so I'd urge you to give it a glance, and I'm sure like me you'll be impressed. :)

Many congratulations

Awww cheers mate appreciate it, I have always loved writing about Ancient history so I had been itching for Paradox to bring out a good ancient history game to play and then make AAR's about.
