Edited the ideal final outlook of West Africa (ignoring influence of Europe at the moment).
West Africa 1819
For clarification:
Morocco didn't really control Gao and Timbuktu in 1819. As far as I can discern the Tuaregs did, who grabbed it in 1730. However, I think that the addition of a Tuareg state in 1730 is a waste of a tag.
Bambara-Macina is not a true nation. It is a combination of the Bambara nations of Segu & Kaarta plus the Fulani nation of Macina. For tag-conserving, I combined the three. All came into existence around early 1600's. Currently I am planning just to re-establish Mali down in these provinces with an event relating that Mali is standing in place of these three.
Sokoto Caliphate doesn't exist until 1800's. So Hausa States until 1800's when capital changes to Sokoto in Zaria province.
Walata wasn't part of Futa Toro but its just easier and more sensible to give it to them.
Wasn't sure if Say belongs with Sokoto(Hausa). I know that it went to Bornu (PTI) after fall of Songhai and decided to give it to Sokoto.
I'm wondering if I can grab any of those unused or obscure african cultures to define cultures better in West Africa.
