Has HoChiMinh ever reported any progress? IS he doing a map? If not we could use MKJ's Dark Ages map (he said he will post some screens in the middle of january) which covers Europe, Asia and northern Africa, so all we need.

This is from his profil Last Activity: 13-11-2005 so no we don't got any reply from him i would go dor MKJ's map and maybe we could get him to send the EU2MAP file so we could make maybe a little bit of changes, but hey we'll see how it looks first.

There is no thread. MKJ told me in the Rome Universalis thread that he was working on such a project and that he would release screenshots probably in the middle of January. Which is now.

We start in 632 and he in 1150 or so.

So our map has to be a little bit different. Especially in the Balkans.

We must get rid of Tobacco, Sugar, Coffee, Cotton and Chinaware (any more?).

How about we replace Chinaware with Silk and Sugar with Olive Oil (like in IFU) because it was (and still is) very important in the Mediterranean world and a refinery would be realistic.

Ok. Then Cool-Toxic should put a country with that name in the list. And I suggest that they will be Roman vassals and the Bulgars conquer them later.

Do you have MyMap? If not I suggest you download it and take a look on Bulgaria/Balkans/Steppes. It is very detailed. lots of smaller provinces.
