Johan, why do y'all barely ever show the area map, by the way? Is it a secret or something?

cause we have a bug where seazone names overlaps everything so it looks like shit there.

It's really nice of you guys having so many Finno-Ugric cultures in the game considering they are all gonna di...culture converted in like 100 years:)

how?

That... looks like a LOT of free real estate ready for the taking/colonization in the northern part of the map.

Not sure I'd use the word "free"

Could I have the population numbers for Northern Norway? I have made a spreadsheet based on population estimates recognized internally in the country and been in touch with some historians and would like to be able to compare the relative population of the parts of the country. I will try to post some other corrections to the maps as well.

its like 100 or 150 in each location.

Will Project Caesar have a graphical terrain map like the default one in EU4? Is this planned or a work in progress?

- Koppo? Did you mean Koppö, the old name of Kristinestad?

Yes.. Using the "keys" to localization file tends to not give us the umlauts

Will recreating Swedens EU4 borders with colonization be something wich will take a entire century or be relativiely quick?

It depends, balance is not set in stone yet.. even in 1444 it was not colonized really.

3) Would a Geatish culture make sense? Elfdalian? IDK, correct me Scandinavian friends.

Geatish is about 200 years dead and assimilated. 1337 swedish culture is basically more geats than the old svear.

- Could we see a more precise population breakdown of the Finnish provinces? I feel like the Swedish population might be overrepresented here. The earliest estimate I could find quickly was from 1610, when 17.5% of the population of Finland was Swedish-speaking, according to Wikipedia. And Swedish settlement in Finland was still in progress when the game starts.

The data we have show extremely low numbers in Finland

Wouldn't it be better to just call the Bornholm location Bornholm?

We consistently try to name locations after town or villages if possible.

Let's say, Sweden can convert 20 people per year, they would be able to convert the vast majority of these locations in less than 50 years

thats the lowest populated location in 5 years..

An earlier Tinto maps than usual? Can't complain about that. However something that caught my eye at a first glance is the location name of Varanger, which is wrong on two levels, as Varanger itself isn't a settlement nor a town nor is it located at the location its shown, it is a peninsula, specifically where the location of Vardo is.

Technically the fjord is named Varanger as well.
