Just downloaded latest version of converter (1.3.1) and tried to convert my save. Quits after 0 sec every time. Save is 1000AUC, or 247AD, and I set start date to that, but converting it to the default date yields same result.
Run VC_redist.x64.exe in the converter folder.

Certainly, but an Imperator import mod would. My expectation, in the context of the existence of the CK3 Bookmark Date (AD) field on the Front End, is that I enter an AD date and as long as it is the same or calendaristically after the I:R Save Game date, it would be able to re-create the world.

As it is, the only instance in which I have been able to get CK3 to load the realms as they have been defined in the I:R Export Mod is by using the 1st January 867 date.

So does that mean there is something about CK3 that's hardcoded to have 867 as the earliest date?
Ah sorry, I thought you were talking about areas of CK3 map not covered by Imperator map, for them lack of history is not a bug. What you're reporting is caused by CK3 not supporting negative dates, and I'm working on a workaround. There's no hardcoding for 867.
Thanks for the work. Minor weirdness to report.

Imperator: Rome to CK3 conversion lead to some weirdness with tribal societies on the Rome map. As in every single County that was on that map (But not new ones added in CK3's widened scope) had Tribal holdings to start out. In every single Barony. This lead to weirdness as Tribes started to embrace Feudalism of ending up with a County that had nothing but Castle Holdings without Cities or Temples for the most part.

Not a huge deal in and of itself, slows down wars because now there's so many more castles to tear down than you'd normally see.

Biggest concern is, since I'm tying this into a mega campaign how the CK3 to EU4 converter will work. Meaning most of Europe will be dirt poor in production and taxation due to the complete lack of cities and temples.

Not sure if the conversion into CK3 was intended to really do that or just an odd effect.

The save it was converted from by the by since that does seem to be the regular thing asked:
Are you sure it was in every single barony? Even major cities like Alexandria? In that case I cannot reproduce.

I'm aware of the issues with holding type conversion:
The converter will begin receiving feature updates again. The pain points that I should focus on are:
- governor to vassal conversion
- county development conversion
- barony holding type conversion

@IlikeTrains - I want to understand the nature of the issue that's manifesting for me. When you say "negative AD dates", are you talking about birth dates for living characters? Meaning what I need to do is to input a CK3 Bookmark Start Date of around 100 AD? If that's the case, then the "workaround" can also be that : the converted bookmark date cannot be earlier than 100 AD (or 150 AD if you wanna be really safe). And if somebody is older than 150 in Imperator then clamp their age to 150.

I'm having the same issue that Diamondhero is having.
My log file in the ImperaatorToCK3 folder says what's mentioned above, and the other log file is empty. There is no error/errors, ect, file created.
I've run the VC_redist.x64 file, still nothing.

When I use the old, "Latest Caligula Release", not the github version it wants me to update to, it seems to be working, or at least it creates a mod file. (Haven't tried using it.)
So it might be a version issue.

Still no dice. :(
You need to install .NET 5 runtime. Assuming you're on Windows x64: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-5.0.9-windows-x64-installer
I will make it self-contained for the next release, so you won't need to have .NET 5 installed.

By negative dates I mean BC dates. I'd like to output BC title history from Imperator cleanly (so a past Imperator ruler who ruled from 50.1.1 BC would begin his rule in -50.1.1 in the history files). CK3 doesn't support that, so best I can do is squash all BC rulers between 0-1(or 2?) AD in history files. Unless any CK3 modder has a better solution.

This problem is indeed irrelevant by 150 AD, but I want users to have the possibility to convert earlier (and get their rulers converted to children if it's TOO early ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

See my reply to Diamondhero above, should be it.

Seems to work.
The old release converter causes crashes when I open up the realm page, so hopefully this works. xD

Edit: Everything seems to work, but I get this in the error log.

[18:34:28][pdx_assert.cpp:568]: Assertion failed: Promote returned nullptr
[18:34:28][pdx_assert.cpp:568]: Assertion failed: Trying to create a CCoatOfArmsSprite with invalid coat of arms
[18:34:29][jomini_script_system.cpp:169]: Script system error!
Error: start_war effect [ Scope character is not a ruler, cannot start a war: A_lmos Árpád of (Internal ID: 138282 - Historical ID 159137) ]
Script location: file: events/game_rule_events.txt line: 262
[18:34:31][pdx_gui_animation.cpp:513]: Animation triggered has no valid state properties or sound effects

Edit 2: The only issue I find would be that there are no de-jure titles under my main title (Roman Empire), forcing me to create kingdom titles (since I can't give out empire titles without causing independence stuff), which I can't afford, and wait for them to integrate, which, in base game you can't do.

Yeah, that worked. Heres the log for research purposes...
