Why does Venice directly own Amorgos island? It was conquered in 1309 by the then duke of Naxos, Venice only took it direclty in 1419 after a deal with the Ottomans.

Alternatively would be more vivid purple or go for a more bluish like a darker version of Milan just blue instead of purple.
But the darker blue which makes up the border/coastline "darker highlight" is imho pretty good if naples is blue.
Could you try for something slightly darker with a tiny hint of purple?

Maybe something like RGB = {100, 50, 250} or similar would work? Here's what it looks like:

(Might be too bright once you're in-game tbh... maybe something along the lines of 150, 100, 250 would be less saturated)

Great improvements overall. Just some comments:

1) Could you please explain why have the Rusyn been eliminated and merged with the Galichians?
2) Some color changes would really improve the beauty and readability of the map. I would suggest changing the color of Naples and Neapolitan culture to a dark olive green or a yellow, and then matching the Greek culture color to that of the Byzantine Empire. This would solve the "purple vassal overload" in Greece, and also would differentiate de Greek and Bulgarian cultures, which are too similar RN IMHO.
I second this. I believe they also should change the colour of Transylvanian if they really plan on keeping it, so it does not have the exact same colour as Bulgarian, Greek and most importantly Transylvanian Saxon (which must be renamed that from "Transylvanian German")

Some wastelands in the Carpathians have disappeared, and are now just Mountains; however, they will continue being quite strategic in winter, as the mountain passes may freeze, blocking movement.
Honestly, the Poiana Rusca and the Iron Gates as wastelands were a nice detail in the previous iteration, it's a shame that they are no longer there.

So I know Borsod has some negative reputation today, but I am surprised by the extremely severe development drop it has experienced here, what happened there?

Cultures

There are also some changes in this distribution. The most important ones are the Rusyn culture being replaced by Halychian, and Moldovan being its own culture in the setup.
on Székely and Csángó:
- Régen should not be Székely, it should primarily be a Translyvanian Saxon settlement
- on the other hand, Felvinc  should be Székely, as that location here corresponds to the Aranyosszék seat of the Székelys. This was a thing in the first iteration, however I have no idea why it was removed
- Csángós are NOT the same as Székelys. There are several Csángó groups, with different origins (who have moved to their current location from various different places during the start date), and some of those are of Székely origin; however, the original Northern Csángó group (the one group that was definitely present at the start date in Moldavia) were not Székelys, and they had no Székely identity, in contrast with later, "Székely Csángó" groups. I would either make them Hungarian or their Own culture.
- the placement of Moldavian Hungarians (currently Székely) looks fine at first glance, but it misses two important locations; Roman is to this day the center of the Northern Csángós, while Adjud was founded by Hungarians and would also likely be an important Csángó location.

Markets

There haven't been any changes in this map, but I wanted to show you how our dynamic localization for locations works (please remember that you can set it as you prefer with a game rule!)
Also, it would be worth representing the Transylvanian Salt Road(s), which were a combination of waterways and roadwork and were essential for transporting the large number of salt and precious metals from Translyvania to other markets; essentially, make Translyvania's market access higher as it was an extremely important export hub and also had a significant population of Saxon burghers and merchants.

Oh I see; do you still look at and consider suggestions and resources on that topic, regardless?

I was thinking more

16 / 81 / 113 for naples

then again i would personally like BYZ to be closer to 82 / 36 / 95 in shading

Great!
But i think Dalmatians should use the same language as the Venetians. Venetian is really the closest known relative of the Dalmatian language. Venetian is difficult to classify but i prefer the italo-dalmatian classification, which in this case would mean having Venetian, Istriot and Dalmatian use the (Southern) Italian language rather than gallo-italic.

Grouping these would make the most sens and is also what's best for gameplay purposes.

Alternatively have them use their own language, with Dalmatian & Venetian as dialects.

Also, I'm pretty sure the peninsula north of Ragusa (Peljesac) should be owned by Ragusa at the start of the game, and when dynamic naming is implemented, the market at location should be called Ragusa as the republic used Latin as their official language at this time and the dominant language being the 'Ragusan' language, which is considered a dialect of Dalmatian.

Also here's a list of cultural names for the area in which Dalmatian was spoken: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/tinto-maps-5-7th-of-june-2024-italy.1686051/post-29680699
