I DID creaTe and edit the Shortcut.
However , it still does not work.
I use a separate directory inside of the eu2-directories.
For EEP it works.

AoI works the same way EEP works. You must have made an error. :)

Alright , I reinstalled Eu2 , installed the latest patch , then "installed" AOI.
Made the Shortcut.
Used the timepatch.
Got into the game through shortcut.
This time i also overinstalled the originalfiles wth the aol files and now the scenarios are there but now i can´t get into the game cause i get certain errors then he throws me onto desktop.
Oh and he says that there is an error with the major_akk or so , i only remember it was something wirt akk....

What exactly does the shortcut point to? Try to write the 2 lines in the shortcut here.

You aren't supposed to overwrite any existing EU2 files though... extract the files as they are in the xip file, into an AoI subdir.

C:\Games\EU2\eu2.exe C:\Games\EU2\AOI
C:\Games\EU2\

Those are the Target and Execute in.

You need to have " before the last part on the first line, making it look like this:

"C:\Games\EU2\eu2.exe" C:\Games\EU2\AOI
C:\Games\EU2\

If you have WinXP it likes to remove those "
A solution to that would be to have spacemark somewhere in the line, for instance renaming EU2.exe to EU 2.exe and the " will stay...

It has those Brackets.
But it still does not work.

It's a bug, and I have reported it in the bug forum. It's not connected to my mod, it's a bug in EU2 itself.

About moddir, I found out that it's apparantly possible to run it by starting EU2.exe with the command 'aoi' - like this: Eu2.exe aoi

Hive something strange happened in my latest GC.. I started a Hands off game as Kongo and I was looking around africa in the 1530's and there is a country named... Belgium in africa its a 2 province pagan nation with capital in south east africa lol.. strange :D

http://s95074994.onlinehome.us/belgium.jpg

Eh.... hehe. Let's just call it an easter egg... :D

Nah it's a bug. I removed Xhosa from the game, and used the tag for Belgium. However, I seem to have forgotten to remove the Xhosa file from this particular scenario... :eek:o

Hive, in the scenario of 1795, wanted to make suggestions :).
-San Petersburg would have to be russian and not ugric.
-the Philippines to the north would have to be catholic.
-Brabant would have to be french and not dutch, to simulate to Wallonia.
-In the event of 1830 with the revolution of July, the republic is proclaimed, but it would not have to proclaim if Napoleon is still to the power, it would have to continue being empire.

I hope to have helped, and it already sends to the p.m. by the confederation Castile-Aragon to you. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I agree with them all except from the Brabant issue. If anything, I'd rather give Belgium Artois and make that represent it...

Giviing Artois is indeed a good thing to do. On Belgium I also advice to change the religion of Belgium (state) Flanders and Brabant to Catholic.

Hive, other suggestions :):

-Paraguay does not exist in the map of EU2, the Neembucu province would have to be called Paraná (Argentina) (just where alive I :D) and not Asunción, since this one is 1000 km to the north.

-the Parana province would have to be called Colonia del Sacramento and belongs to Uruguay.

-and I add to a very important leader general Juan Lavalle.
