In "drive", after EU2.exe, I hit space and then my path of AoI. Windows says that it's unvalid or something like that.
Well. So, I might have do something wrong. As other said, I press space after the exe and just type "AoI". Same thing.

Uh...I could have made a mistake! Then I try it with "launch in" -I've French XP, so name could be different, here I've just translated-, my path+AoI path
it work!
But...There is no scenario, no save game. Nothing. Just a virgin main menu.

What can I do?

Oh, my EU2 version: EU2 v1.08

Just copy your regular EU2 shortcut and add 'AoI' after EU2.exe (without the 's). And be sure that AoI is installed as a subdir in your EU2 folder.

As to the next version... well... don't hold your breath while waiting, I have stopped working on it for the time being...
 
Hive, I experience some problems playing the AOI ACW scenrio now I have isntalled 1,08.

Whenever I laungh the game it ends immidiately as 1819 has arrived.

I had patched the .exe and now done it again but still the problem shows up. Do I need a new patcher now I got 1,08?

Odd... I was certain that the Unlimited patch still works. Sure you patched the new *.exe after applying 1.08?

I think I go and take a look if there are more .exe files. (at the moment my EuIi files are sort of a jungle with ATF/AOI/1,08/MES/AGCEEP and so on.

come back with it tomorrow, thanks for your help

I can't see any of the campaigns on the screen i've followed all the instructions and i have V1.08

You must have done the shortcut wrong, like a few other guys also did... someone explained it well a few pages ago, try to scroll back and look. :)

You want either:

"C:\Program Files\Paradox Entertainment\Europa Universalis 2\EU2.exe" C:\Program Files\Paradox Entertainment\Europa Universalis 2\EU2.exe\AoI

OR

"C:\Program Files\Paradox Entertainment\Europa Universalis 2\EU2.exe" AoI

Right, a little update if anyone is still following this thread:

I have recently worked on converting the mod to 1.08, in which connection I decided to re-do all monarch and leader IDs for various reasons. This have been a lot of work, but I'm almost done now - except with the scenarios themselves.

Next up, I will be finishing my 1337 and 1568 scenarios. There is, however, still a long way to go with this. And I expect especially pre-1419 event creating to take quite some time.

Feel free to use my expulsion events, if you like (I don't know if you want, or even need them).

My events that lets the European nations conquer the native American nations.
If e.g. England controls all of Delaware, it annexes Delaware with an event. A few days after that, the previous Delaware provs gets a population of 1,000 (the smallest city size), and turns into the conqueror's main culture, i.e. Anglosaxon in the case of England, also with an event.

The events are for all native American nations, and I'm planning to do events for annexing Mayans, Aztecs and Zapotek, too. Maybe the Incas, as well. Any European nation can get the event (it's not one event for each nation, but one single event that can trigger for any european nation).

These events solve one problem with the native American provs, namely they're no longer e.g. pagan/creek throughout the game. The expulsion of the native Americans went rather quickly historically, and these events try to simulate that.
One problem remains, though - the cities having ahistorical names. Perhaps renaming them in the scenario file from start?

Ah... well I'll probably remove most native American nations anyway, so...
