Hmm I dont know we could give it a try. I got it for 2 years free from a promotion so if it cant handle it and it shuts down I dont really care :p

Check PM if you want to try.

Thx, but like I said in the PM: I don't have time to try it today. I have spent more time than I really had, trying to upload it, already... :(

I'm on my way out the door now, and won't be back untill sometime tomorrow. I will try to upload it again by then. Sorry for the delay.

Age of Imperialism 2.0 is now finally ready for download. Go here .

Please note that it is only temporarily hosted, so I would be grateful if anyone could provide me with more permanent solutions. If anyone would like to put it up for mirror download once you have it yourself, I would be very grateful.

Thanks to Vricklund for hosting it temporarily.

7% ... I am so exited :D

I started a game as Byzantium in 1337, Should be easier to Crush the Turks before they get stronger in 1337 then 1419 :D

I love the Graphics. But some of the Countries colors I am going to change. A few countries have same color and are right next to each other. One I remember off the top of my head is Argentina and Chile (I think) In the Civil War Scenario. :)

Yeah I changed some of those already, but have probably missed some...

If you have the time, feel free to list all cases of this problem you notice. Then I'll fix it for the next release. :)

Ah, That scen was bugged with me, I guess hive reported you the fix :)

There was a missing bracket in a monarch file in the first upload that made the 1337 not load.

I fixed it and uploaded a new version pretty fast, though...

Hive,

Like I said, this is amazing work.

You did this by yourself?

You better be around to brief me. :D I'm going to get this thing into a game if it kills me.

Since I haven't got the net during the Week, I can't try it myself, but I would like to know: can the player avoid the falls of Louis-Philippe (1848) I and Charles X (1830) in France?
In fact, they could have stay in power if they had seriously tried, so a player who want to keep the Bourbons or the Orléans should be able to do so...

I wish I were saturday, so I can try the mod! 2 days... How long!!!

I just checked the event files (I couldn't remember), and no... that's not possible.

Though if I'm provided with alternative future monarchs for such events, I *might* make it possible for the next release...

Well, I'll have a look in order to find out some Bourbons and Orleans Kings!
Have you what you need with the 2nd Empire? I mean if Napoleon 3rd doesn't fall?
I suggest Napoléon IV until the end of the scenar (14 years in 1870): actually, if he was Emperor, why should he dies in 1879 (?)? He was killed by zulus when he was serving in British Army, as an Emperor, he wouldn't! :)

For Bourbons or Orleans Monarchs, there might be something in the old Age Of Nationalims Mod!
But: Charles X might reign until 1834 (i'm not quite sure) Or Louis-Philippe until 1849 (if they stey, of course) and then, for Charles X: Henri V until the end of the 70's (true date saturday :) ); for Louis Philippe I forgot. But, after Henri V, there might be others events: as he didn't get any child, the Orléans might get the crown!
Actually, I've some events ideas for the XIXth century in France... Shall I give it :) ?

But If you accept to add this "what if" events, that will be great and it will be offering by far a very interesting game for France in the XIX century!
