Either this one or the other all in one mod has a decision or something similar for all of nanjing-china to core it's terriory after 3 years. Can anyone point me to the file that contains this?

From the changelog:

It's hard keeping track of all the different versions of AIO. I think we're up to 4 now? Redwolf's, RealityGuy's AIOGE, and Dr. Bob's original version (which modified Jamirquai's original files), and Dr. Bob's version which surprisingly modifies Reality Guy's AIOGE. I'm not complaining about 4 parallel versions, it's just hard to keep track of which is which sometimes.

Edit: Now I'm confusing myself. I meant to post this in the other AIO thread o_O:)

Do you still do any work on this? Maybe you could combine your version with redwolfs?
 
Ok then we have Rebalance from Goth47 and Giang and DrBobs changes. I put them together into 1, overwriting some files from the older rebalance thread with DrBobs version because these are more recent. I left out the changes to air wing sizes so that they will stay at 100 instead of 50.

So i got some issue with Germany in my Japan play:

Italy was doing well, they smashed to Suez easily so i reloaded the save and placed some divisions to Alexandria for UK but Germany is somewhat of a mess. They were a bit slow in Poland and France but now they got absolutely no punch in Russia even after i let them complete like 12 panzer divisions instantly by editing the save.... I installed the rebalancing files only after France fell so i dont think thats the issue. Germany should push farther and in Finland there is 0 progress at all. Also Spain and Portugal joined the Axis and the ai wont take Gibraltar when it easily could.

Is this some unlucky outlier or what could be the cause, i noticed that Germany is barely building any lnad units besides the mentioned tanks.... Does Germany need some kind of changes?

If the ai rebalance is indeed the cause i must say i prefered the old files, or atleast Germany needs a bit of a buff then.

So after researching a bit further i found that ic values are screwed up for so many nations, Finland and Bulgaria for example start with less than 10 ic while India got 132. Where are the values saved, values from grand campaign / other all in one for 1933 seem correct more or less i want to copy them....

Edit: Ok so it seems the province.csv was reworked in a way that ruined ic for many countries. Does using the province.csv from the other all in one do the trick? And in gold version there are 2 province.csv, one in the map folder and another in map_1 whats that about can someone with some knowledge about that stuff tell me?

provinces_old is the one gold was using and the other is from normal all in one, i dont know why this file was changed at all if it messes so many countries up....
My game crashes when i want to use the old file for gold, i dont know what changed so much for the file to be incompatible....

Try uninstalling the settings and see if it's the new files or the AIOGE mechanics that made Germany so inefficient, because I don't remember what I tweaked to keep Germany from producing armies, but I made the Soviet AI frantically produce infantry and militia units in the event of a panic attack during a sudden invasion. That made the Soviets gradually outnumber the Germans and made them not attack manager, the game will turn into a tug-of-war, not a quick collapse within 1.5 years like before, this is perfectly fine with redwolf's mod but when it comes to AIOGE it's not suitable @@
 
Most important thing i want to know is how i can replace the province.csv from gold (which has wrong ic numbers for many countries) with the older one from all in one, why does it crash it has the same number of provinces does anyone has experience with modding that file?

Here are the files in question, i guess its too much for you to take a quick look - if not maybe Germany is struggling because several axis countries got ruined by their starting ic, Finland for example was no help they started with 5 ic....

And another one: Where do i mod the number of brigades a division can have? Isn't 3 a bit much for Mot / Mech /arm? I thought it was 1 for everyone except Inf in the past?
Go to db/units/divisions and then just look at the individual unit files. There should be an entry at the top saying something like "Maximum allowable brigades."

Thanks, i also have a question about ai research: in the ai files the latest year for germany is 1942 and in there the ai is told to ignore carrier research and so on, will this be forever until a switch tells it otherwise? In my game germany is past bitter peace but on carrier tech 1930....

You might want to ask that in the Odds and Sods forum. That's beyond my pathetic modding skills :)
