Hello, I have monthly subscribe, but i want buy some DLC on sale now. I cant it because "item in my library". Is there a way to do this on Steam?
There is not; the Steam store does not differentiate between DLCs you own or subscribe to.

You could have someone you trust buy them on Steam as a gift to you, or buy from our store or any of our resellers

My only question would be, ps4/ps5, when can have it.i haven't owned a computer for about 10 years now. I just want to play them on my PS ;p
We don't know what you mean by "it" or "them" here. If you mean particular Paradox games, please post in those forums.

Hi all together,

Would be great, if you could help me along with a problem I have got. It's about the game Shadowrun Hong Kong, what was very, very great to play! However, sadly I discovered a Bug in the middle of the game, and it is not playable farther from this point on. I played the game on my Nintendo Switch and I already asked Nintendo for a possible solution they directed my here to Paradox Interactive. So i would like to ask you, if someone have the same problem with this game, or if Paradox itself know anything about the Bug. If you answer, I could describe you the Bug in more detail.

Looking forward to reading from you!

Cheers Orco

Please post in the game specific forum as this thread is for non game specific questions. Just so you know Shadowrun is no longer in development and there will be no further updates so unless there's a workaround the bug won't be fixed.

Are you still adding forum badges for games people own or is this a feature you’re not updating anymore? I haven’t checked if there’s Victoria III badges for example.

I don’t think there’s been a new Stellaris badge in 2 years, hence my question and there’s been maybe 4 DLC :)

This would have been better asked in the Forum Help forum - you'll see other threads there on the topic.

Does Paradox have some policy toward accessibility of its products? By accessibility I mean making the software accessible for people with disabilities, impairments, and such, not pricing and such. I believe the EU accessibility directive does not apply to games, and don't think there's laws elsewhere requiring that either, so I'm just curious if you've internally set some such goals.

It's kind of a shame that the popularity of all these wonderful grand strategy games has to be reliant on the capabilities of the AI. A lot of work has gone into allowing players to play by themselves, and almost nothing has been done to even establish a multiplayer experience. As one who used to drive to a friend's house to play Grand Strategy around a table back in the 90s(when we all lived close enough to each other) I have to say this is my biggest disappointment.

While I think charging monthly for the experience is a bit of a gouge, certainly I'd be happy to pay for a 'Paradox Grand Strategy Multiplayer Arena' that would offer both a stable platform to play their games in multiplayer AND connect and find players for ALL of their grand strategy games. Most games nowadays actually do this to some extent. If 'asking Paradox' is required, my question is: 'Has Paradox considered releasing such a program?' and if not, 'Why not?' I suppose it would require more than a program, but a server as well.

Paradox used to run their own MP servers back in the day, the metaserver, but for what they believe are very good reasons no longer do that; it was withdrawn back in EU3 days. All MP is now via the Steam or Nakama MP services.

So I don't think it is fair to say that current Paradox games have had "almost nothing has been done to even establish a multiplayer experience". MP play is a core part of the QA process for every current game.

If you are referring to the two games you have registered here though, of course no new servers or facilities or MP testing will occur for them, being so old.

Fair enough. Only 2 games registered? I have 6: AoD, Darkest hour, HOI3 and HOI4, Vic2 and EU4.

Well, under your name here are only those two. If the others are non-Steam editions they'll never show here; but if they are Steam they ought to, after you've linked your Steam and Paradox accounts, and hit Sync in that screen.

If just looking at the medals, you can deselect them from showing as well (they are capped at a low level too)

I just don't play much besides waiting for this 6-player game of modded Darkest hour(finally coming to some fruition) dabbling in some TOAW4, and occasional missions in IL2 BAT or Arma3.

Any chance of HOI4 going DRM free and selling on GOG? Personally I detest steam and other such sites. From what I have seen, I would be really interested in buying/playing HOI4 but not if I have to use steam or equivalent. It has been nearly a decade since release. surely all the potential pirates have already pirated.

Have you ever received a reply to your query?

I would like to know this too.

I made a post earlier today in the CS2 subforum inquiring what kind of policies and goals PDX has in place for representation of people with disabilities in their city builder game but havent gotten a response regarding my questions yet.

In case they reply and you are still interested in this kind of information or would like to contribute anything towards that post, you can find it here:

No reply. If I were to have one I expect it would come here where the question was posted. They sometimes answer "how does Paradox do things" type of questions here, but not all of them.

thank you for the swift reply. Thats is very disappointing. I already contacted PDX and CO directly in order to gain more information on their efforts to make their games more accessible for people with disabilities and also get them appropriately represented in their games. If you are interested, i can contact you any relay and information that i may get on that topic. And if you are comfortable with sharing any information about the disabilities you may have or how they impact the way you can enjoy video games, i would be glad to hear from you and feel free to send me a DM as it would get a bit off topic here.
