On the Pzfaust thing, you have to understand you're not going to get a +1 bonus for each type. They were mainly just distance/accuracy upgrades for the most part. Besides, that wouldn't really correlate to any Allied counterparts.

To me, the big upgrade should be when you get the PzSchrecks.

AI Paratrooper cost cut

I wonder if it would be beneficial if we made a cost/production cut event for the AI in producing paratroopers? We all know the cost/time increase is as an obstacle to human players. Why hit the AI even harder for them if they don't use them in airborne operations?

I'll work one up for the AI majors if you'd like.

How about bazookas?

Another thing is that we might put some sort of ´´bengalores´´ into tech tree. they might improve the fort. attack.

On the StugIII tank battalion... I noticed it requires a 40mm gun rather than the 75mm short barrel version which doesn't make that much sense considering the early stugs used the short barrel 75mm. Also... Perhaps anti-tank battalions using the long barreled 75mm could be added with more or less independant divisions.

It's not exactly Stug batt - it's "infantry tank batt". It all depends on the country, but in most cases those tanks had 40mm and better guns - and in case of Germany, 75mm. I've chosen lower variant to encourage players to use those. :D

And perhaps there can be a different between Panzerfausts 30s, 60s, and 100s although that might be over board.

There is - basic, improved, and advanced tube rockets. :D

In all AI files paras should be removed - AI is not capable of paradroping them. And they are a bit too costly to use them as the infantry. :D

In case of 0.6 files I'm faily sure they are removed from all of them.

Isn´t it exactly what happened IRL? The main bulk of paras were both costly and used as normal infantry. Just to mention the german fallschirmjaegers and all the soviet para divisions...

I know, but AI needs all the help we can give it. No paras (that usually find anonymous grave in some 80+ div pocket on the Ukraine) is small price for giving USSR extra inf. divisions.

Well, I certainly hope you mean unit production and not cutting the OOB?

I'd like to see paras dropped, also. Although I'd like to see the 81st and 101 make it on the scene, as well as the Brits. Can these be event-created for a resource hit?

So far we have not succeded in proper invasion on the continent (invasions on Italy and Spain doesn't count), so... :(

And AI paradrops... use suggestions threads. :D

BTW, in 0.6 there is one event with event forced paradrop - in Warsaw Uprising (as an alternative choice UK can opt to drop in Warsaw gen. Sosabowski 1st Paradrop Brigade). :D
Why the Brits and not the Poles? All right, I know, it's a wrong thread... :)

PM or mail me on what do we do with the 1944 onwards situation. I've almost finished the first part of the polish pre-war stability and industry events, so I'll probably have some time to spend on the Lublin and Warsaw (if it fires...).
Cheers

Warsaw (if it fires...).

In the current build of v0.6 I've seen the Warsaw Uprising fire a couple of times, typically it ends up as a one-province enclave in a sea of red with the USSR conquering everything from Belgium to Libya.

So I see we need a series of events for the allies (push for Sosos help or not, blackmail him or not, send Sosabowski or not) and a chain for USSR (Lublin Poland or not, crush the Uprising or support it...). But I'll fix that with Copper.
Cheers

Many things are already done - General added your pre-war events to the 0.6 test version, as well as mine Warsaw Uprising pack. Apparently, those events even fire sometimes (Steel comments confirm that) - that's quite suprise for me...

So far, we got pre-war events (but no Ukrainians unrests - I leave it to you ;)), Warsaw Uprising (including Stalin decision about support/no support, Sosabowski paradrop, allies supplies drops, captured eqipment and so on) and... that's all.

Seems like it's high time to start work on post-war events, because now Warsaw looks like West Berlin!:cool:

There's even a screenshot on the v0.6 test discussion page... although admittedly you need good eye to see it ;)

You mean wiki? Unfortunately I lost my link to it...
Cheers

Thanks, I got the link now. I couldn't find the screenie though...
But now it's time to finally add the last two events to the Polish Stability and make it finally work.
Cheers

Edit/ I've seen it! We definitely lack all the After the War events...

Militia stats

Copper, can you comment on militia manpower cost in C.O.R.E. as I'd like to understand why it's higher than in vanilla HoI. Intentional or oversight?

Code:
cost 		= 2 # vanilla 4
buildtime	= 45 # vanilla 40
manpower	= 7 # vanilla 5
maxspeed 	= 3 # vanilla 4
